Retests Results for FAT Defect Clearance (ID 173)

According to the FAT Defect with ID number mentioned above, there seems no
correlation between the times and distances during take off due to various runway
conditions.
To investigate this matter, after FAT more take-off tests have been conducted with more
precision on the time measurements. All take-off tests have been conducted with the
same weight and configuration and the same rotation speed. The results have been
collected in the tables and plotted as shown below.
From this result it is quite clear that there is indeed certain observable correlation
between time and distance as displayed in the first plot. However the differences between
the measured times are quite small, so that for certain tests, errors in measurements and
error in the test conduction are quite significant compared to the real difference between
take-off times. Therefore at some points the correlations seem attenuated.
However, if the results are reasonably filtered, much more correlation can be observed as
displayed in figure 2.
