Note
* Crochet the doll with tight stitches.

* Each round is worked in a continuous spiral. Do not join rounds with slip stitch or turn unless stated otherwise. Use a

stitch marker or a piece of yarn to mark the ending of the round. It’s highly recommended that you read through the

pattern completely before beginning to crochet.

Materials & Tools

* Crochet hook suitable with your yarns.

* You can use the same pattern to make smaller or larger toy by using finer or bulkier yarn.

* I used 100% cotton yarn 125 m/ 50 g with hook size 2mm and 9mm safety eyes. If you use different yarn weights,

you can choose your safety eyes with diameter approximate 2.5 single crochet stitches wide. Finished size: 19cm.

* Sewing needle, scissor, fabric glue/hot glue, stitch markers, some pins, fiberfill.

* Pink blush makeup powder or pink acrylic paint and wire (optional)

- X shape and V shape single crochet stitch: You might notice that my single crochet stitches are slightly
different than yours. I used yarn under single crochet (X-shaped single crochet) stitch technique, here’s the link to the

- I used yarn under single crochet (X-shaped stitch) for the body, arms, legs, head, and when crochet in spiral

rounds. I used yarn over single crochet (V-shaped stitch) when working in turning rounds/rows, and hair wigs.

- Invisible single crochet decrease: the gap between 2 decrease stitch is smaller when you use invisible

- Hair strands: all my doll’s hair strands are made from a foundation chain. Look from the front you will see each chain

has a V shape with a left loop and a right loop, look behind, you will see a back bump. If I want the hair strands to look

curly, I will crochet into the loops on the left of the chain only. If I want the hair strands straighter, I will crochet into

the back bump only. In usual, all hair strands of my dolls are crocheted into the left loops. https://youtu.be/

- Sew nose with skin color yarn (3 rounds of yarn) between Rnd 18 and Rnd

- Embroider white yarn in the lower 1/3 part of each eyes.

- Use pink blush makeup powder or acrylic paint to make the rosy cheek on
the doll’s cheeks.

Join the head to the body
Use a long needle and 3 strands of yarn, attach the body to the head. With the head, use a sewing needle, weave the
yarn tail through the front loops of the last round and pull it tight to close the hole. Hide the yarn tail inside the head.

Rnd 43

Pull the strands of yarn through Rnd 43, Rd 4n7 and Rnd 50, you will now have 6 strands. Sew each thread across

the head, from the bottom to the top of the head.

Now, pull the yarn tails to make the neck inside the head. Tie the yarn tails together and hide them inside the head.

Close the remaining hole of the head. In the end, the neck should be 2 rounds tall.

Begin with pink yarn, crochet loosely. Use a 0.5 mm bigger hook with the same yarn weight.

Start to crochet the hair-strands (Strand : S)

Continue to crochet the hair strands after finishing Round 3 of the hair wig. At the end of each strand, slst in the
