How to organise a vacation

Introduction
Hello everyone, today I want to tell you how to organise a vacation. I
will list the main steps, the observance of which will allow you to enjoy
your vacation and not worry about anything.
1. Selecting a location. Often you know in advance what type of vacation
you need: active vacation or relaxation vacation. If you are not sure
about the resort or country you would like to visit, I suggest you make a
list. In this list you must indicate the estimated cost of living, the cost of
tickets, as well as the need for a visa.
2. Visa. Take care of obtaining a visa if necessary in advance; it may take
longer than you thought.
3. Transport. Consider the different modes of transport that can be used to
get to your destination; the most obvious mode of transport will not
always be the most suitable for you. Buy your tickets in advance and
don't forget to take care of your luggage or pets, as well as meals on
board.
4. Hotel. Determine the main locations of the city you are going to travel
to: historical centre, tourist centre, modern space, outskirts. Determine
which location you would like to live in. Do not forget about the distance
to tourist sites, as well as the likelihood of noise at night in some
locations. After determining the area, go to aggregators for finding
housing such as Booking or Airbnb. You set important filters for your
search for accommodation, such as hotel rating, cost per night,
availability of breakfast or swimming pool. Then start choosing from the
hotels located on the map.
5. Tourist route After these main stages, you can begin to draw up your
tourist route. I suggest searching for all kinds of information on the
Internet and also in the Instagram feed using a geo tag. It is convenient to
use Google maps to mark “I want to visit”, so even while on a regular
walk you will know that there are tourist places of interest to you nearby.
Be sure to check out the ratings of local restaurants to appreciate the local
cuisine.
6. Security. Check whether your health insurance covers accidents abroad.
Be sure to take with you a first aid kit with the medications you need for
the first time. Learn local traditions so you don't accidentally offend
them. And try to learn a few words in the local language to show respect
to the local people. Think through your emergency plan and contacts in
advance.

Conclusion
The more detailed your holiday is prepared, the more relaxed you will be
able to feel and enjoy the local culture. Thank you for your attention.
