(Do this sequence 2 more times until you have 4 loops on
your hook, then yarn over and pull through all 4 loops.)Begin with the cap color:
R1: 6 SC in MR [6 sts]
R2: INC x 6 [12 sts]
R3: (SC 2, INC) x 4 [16 sts]
R4: SC around [16 sts]
Place another stitch marker in the back loop
of the next stitch and leave it in for later.
RS: Front loops only. You will use HDC
stitches for this round, including for increases.
FLO (HDC 2, INC) x 5, HDC [21 sts]
To finish off the cap, you will do another SC in
both loops of next stitch, followed by a SL ST
in the one after, then fasten off and weave in
your tail.
Ea rne)Attach the body color yarn with a SL ST to the
back loop you marked earlier. You will now
begin making the body.

R7: SC around [16 sts]
R8: SC 4, BBL, SC 5, BBL, SC 5 [16 sts]
R9: SC around [16 sts]
R10: SC 6, BBL, SC 2, BBL, SC 6 [16 sts]
Add safety eyes between R7 and R8 directly
next to each arm. Then stuff the mushie firmly.
R11: DEC x 8, finish stuffing, fasten off,
cinch closed and weave in end.
ByMushie spots: Using the same color as the
body, cut a strand that's about 14" long
(35cm) and use it to sew the spots, then
fasten off and weave in ends.
Mouth: If you'd like to, you can also
embroider a small mouth using a small bit of
black yarn or embroidery thread.
And that's it. You've now completed your
mini mushie!
