BeatEdit for Audition

Installation Instructions

BeatEdit is a ZXP extension. Unfortunately, Adobe discontinued their development of Adobe Extension
Manager, which was used to install ZXP extensions. Note that Adobe Extension Manager does not work any-
more with CC 2014 or newer! As an alternative, we developped and maintain the aescripts + aeplugins ZXP
installer. So please install BeatEdit for Audition using aescripts + aeplugins ZXP installer as described here.

Installation on Mac OS
Download and install
aescripts + aeplugins ZXP installer
which is available at
http://aescripts.com/learn/zxp-installer/

Start aescripts + aeplugins ZXP installer and

drag the zxp file of BeatEdit onto the installer window

The file you need to drag onto the installer is:

BeatEdit_Au_VERSION_NUMBER.zxp

drag zxp file here

Congratulations! If you now start Audition,

BeatEdit is available in the menu Window->Extensions->BeatEdit
Installation on Windows
Download and install
aescripts + aeplugins ZXP installer
which is available at
http://aescripts.com/learn/zxp-installer/

Start aescripts + aeplugins ZXP installer and

open the file
BeatEdit_Au_VERSION_NUMBER.zxp with
the installer.
