Supports investments in upgrading and building new capacities oI electrical and thermal
power generation by renewable energy resources exploitation: biomass, hydro resources (low power
smaller than 10 MW), solar, wind, bioIuels, geothermal and other renewable resources energy
Helps reaching the goal established by 2009/28/EC Directive , transIered in national law by
PNAER 2010:
-until 2020, 24 oI the Romania`s energy consumption should be produce by RES
(renewable energy sources) .
To reach that goal Romania has to put in value 50 oI her potential regardind RES.

Budget for grants by POS CCE are already finished.
