HOW MOVE ON VICTORIOUSLY

TEXT: EXODUS 14:15-19

By Dr. Julius Czar Daoa

Introduction:
● Nothing can keep you from a happier future than a lingering wound. The bottom line is that it
hurts and that the pain is preventing you from moving forward.
● While time is the best healer, there are five concrete steps you can take that will facilitate the
process:
● Sabi ng iba time is the best healer, maghintay ka muna hanggang sa maghilom ang sugat
then saka ka mag-move on.

● How to move on victoriously from a painful experience? (crisis)

Yung na-bash ka but you were able to turn it into
cash. Yung pagyayaring napaka-painful but you ended up successful.
● EXODUS 14:15-19
15
"Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on."
16
"Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go
through the sea on dry ground."
17
"I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them. And I will gain glory through
Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen."
● Paano mag-move on ng matagumpay? How to move on victoriously from a painful experience?

● Move on

● to leave the place where you are staying and go somewhere else

● to start a new activity

● to accept that a situation has changed and be ready to deal with new experiences

● Therefore, ‘move on” simply means ‘progress.’ Without moving on there is no progress.

● Therefore, pwede ka pa lang magmove-on kahit may pain pa. You don’t need to become pain-free
for you to move on, all you need is ‘progress!”
● Ang pag-move on ay parang regular na sasakyan, kailangan natin ng susi para makapag-move on.

● There are three important keys to move on victoriously (from this crisis or from a painful
experience)
● Are you ready? Sitsitan mo yung pinakamalapit sa’yo sa bahay at sabihan mo, “move on.” O di
kaya, sitsitan mo yung sarili mo, sabihin mo sa nahihirapan o nasasaktan mong sarili, move on
tayo. Let’s get started!

1ST KEY: GOD'S WORD

● EXODUS 14:15, "Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites
to move on."
● How to move on victoriously? First key is GOD’S WORD.

● If you want to move on from any painful experiences or crises, you need the Word of God.

● Kailangan mo ng THE LORD SAID.

● Tulak na galing kay Lord.

● Most of the time, people need a push from reliable people for them to decide when it's time to
move on.
● There are at least 2 significant roles of the Word of God in moving on that we will see in this
passge:
● 1. Evaluator - “Why are you crying out to me?

Move on na! Sasaktan ka ulit nila, at for sure aalipinin ka ulit nila!
● Testimony: The Lord asked me, “What are you doing here Julius (Elijah)?”

● 2. Instructor - Tell the Israelites to move on."

● Testimony: Get out of the boat (Peter), Give an “Isaac kind of offering” “Honor the Lord with your
wealth (mabigat na uri ng giving).
● Nakakakain naman kami, nakaka-survive naman, nagiging blessing naman.

● When you hear the voice of the Lord, do not harden your heart.

● If you want to move on victoriously, listen to the Word of God. Immerse mo yung sarili mo sa
Word of God.
● The words you believe will determine the way you live.

2ND KEY: GOD'S WAY

● EXODUS 14:16, "Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so
that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground."
● If you want to move on victoriously, stop doing your own way, and start doing God’s ways.

● In the first place, hindi reliable yung sarili natin diskarte.
kapahamakan e.
● What is God’s way in moving on? The ABC of God’s way in moving on:

● 1. ARISE - Raise your staff and stretch out your hand

● Una, use what you have.

● Use what you have! "Raise your staff…” Ano yung “staff” mo?

● Listen!

Use what's left to make things right (and bright). Breakthrough is still possible!
● 2. BELIEVE - stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water

and five loaves!
● 3. CONTINUE - so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground

● How to move on victoriously? Second key is GOD’S WAY.

3RD KEY: GOD'S WILL

● EXODUS 14:17, "I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them. And I
will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen."
● How to move on victoriously? The third key is GOD’S WILL.

● When everything has been said, and done, Lord, let your will be done!

● Ano man ang mangyari, always believe that "God is in control." "I will harden the hearts of the
Egyptians so that they will go in after them.
One of the best ways to rid yourself of the fear
that is plaguing you is to listen to His Word, submit to his way and be reminded that God is in
control.
● Don't forget, the God who is in control of the universe is the same God who is in control over your
situation.
Verse
17 says, “God will gain glory.”
Make it sure that God will gain glory!

● Minsan masaya ito, but minsan ay may masasaktan. Ang importante manyari ang kalooban ng
Diyos.

● “If God wants to glorify Himself through this situation, then so be it. He will never leave me,
abandon me, or take His love away from me. Surely, I will arrive at my God-given destiny.”
● When everything has been said, and done, Lord, let your will be done!

Conclusion:
● How to move on victoriously? The First key is GOD’S WORD. The Second key is GOD’S WAY. The
third key is GOD’S WILL.
● "Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on."

● Ano yung reason ng iniiyak mo, pain mo, or worry mo ngayon?

● I don’t know the reason of that tears flowing from your eyes recently, or today, but the Lord is
telling you, “move on…” (my son, daughter, my people).
● Barbara Corcoran once said, “The difference between successful people and others is how long
they spend time feeling sorry for themselves.”
● The best is still ahead. Move on!
