Beach
What are my favorite places?

A beach is a narrow strip of land

separating a body of water from inland
areas. Beaches are usually made of sand,
tiny grains of rocks and minerals that have
been worn down by constant pounding by
wind and waves.

Most beach materials are the products of

weathering and erosion. Over many years,
water and wind wear away at the land. The
continual action of waves beating against a
rocky cliff, for example, may cause some
rocks to come loose. Huge boulders can be
worn down to tiny grains of sand.

Legazpi City’s claim to fame is the
Mount Mayon, a perfectly symmetrical

rural, with mostly plains on the northeast
and rolling hills on the south.

Majayjay Falls Laguna goes by several names: Taytay Falls
and Imelda Falls. It is called Taytay Falls because the barangay
where the waterfall is situated is called “Taytay”. As for the
latter name, it is said that it was named after the ex-First Lady
Imelda Marcos who funded the promotion of tourism of this
spot.
When you visit this waterfall, expect a very cold getaway, and
by very cold, we mean it. Majayjay Falls and cold springs offer
cool and icy pristine waters that come from Mount Banahaw.
Of all the waterfalls in the province, Majayjay Falls Laguna has
the cleanest and clearest waters. It is so clear that you could still
see a coin if you drop it in the 10-feet pool. This waterfall is a
series of seven waterfalls and the seventh waterfall has a
beautiful and wide pool, even clearer than the pools below.
Aside from dipping in the waters, Taytay Falls is also a popular
local picnic and camping destination.
