In the labyrinth of my mind, where anxious thoughts entwine,

A web of tangled narratives, a restless, writhing vine.

Each heartbeat is a drumbeat, in a rhythm much too fast,
Echoing the uncertainties, the shadows that they cast.

The world outside is filtered through a lens of doubt and fear,

Every moment magnified, the whisperings I hear.
A cacophony of what ifs, a chorus of might bes,
A relentless surge of turmoil, like a storm-tossed sea.

Breaths come short and hurried, in this space so tight and confined,
Seeking solace, seeking quiet, a moment's peace to find.
The future looms like a specter, its face obscured, unknown,
A canvas painted with the hues of worry overblown.

Social gazes feel like spotlights, too intense and bright,

Judgment, real or imagined, in the stark and glaring light.
The simplest tasks seem mountainous, each decision fraught,
With the weight of potential outcomes, overwrought.

Yet within this whirlwind of worry, a still, small voice resides,

A beacon in the tumult, where true strength abides.
It whispers of resilience, of the power to endure,
To navigate the maelstrom, to find a footing sure.

So, step by anxious step, I tread this path so steep,

Learning to untangle fear, to wake and then to sleep.
Embracing every struggle, each anxious thought that comes,
Knowing that through challenge, transformation blossoms.

For anxiety, though a shadow, is also a teacher, a guide,

Pushing me to find the light, on the turbulent inside.
In the heart of every fear, there's a lesson to be gleaned,
A chance to grow, to overcome, to become unforeseen.
