BOISE, USA- Boise, USA, is an historical drama based on the homosexuality scandal that took place in
the fifties in Boise, Idaho and follows the lives of people both accused of homosexuality as well as
those whose jobs it was to arrest and convict them. A play about homophobia, as it was 60 years
ago, but just as relevant as it is today.

BOURGEOIS BEHAVIOR- When Roger’s lover, Geeque, gets fed up with Roger living a double life, and
juggling his marriage to his wife with his full time affair with Geeque, he ends the affair. Roger’s
marriage also falls apart, leaving Roger stranded, with nobody except his best friend Lance to stand
by his side. One night, in a nightclub on July 4th, it happens – Roger comes face to face with both his
wife, Anita and his ex lover, Geeque at the same club….

CARMILLA- The second world war is about to begin. But Laura and her father remain isolated, living
in a part of the Austrian countryside all-but-deserted for hundreds of years. When there is a car
accident outside the mansion, and Carmilla, a young women inside the car appears to be in shock,
her mother begs them to take the young girl in. As Carmilla’s health is delicate, Laura’s father allows
the Countess to leave her daughter in their care. But her mother never returns. Laura and Carmilla
spend every waking moment together and over time, the two girls develop a deep passion for each
other. But the ancient curse that once swept the surrounding countryside returns, leaving almost a
dozen young girls dead in its wake. People begin to sicken and waste away, eventually passing into
the next world as bloodless husks. There is talk of the family that once lived in the very same castle,
and whose portraits bear a striking resemblance to Carmilla. People then begin to talk of vampires,
as if they are real…

JUAN AND EMMETT- The hardest pills to swallow are the ones we recognise well; it is difficult to
accept the life your heart did not expect. Even more difficult to see the life you could be living as it
passes you by and most difficult to dare explore that life. Emmett is a father, husband to Linda and a
successful lawyer who lives, yes, but is not really alive…until he meets Juan. Younger, beautiful and
bursting with joie de vivre, Emmett cannot deny the attraction he feels to this man; he must talk to
him, befriend him, love him, protect him, save him. In this two-act tragic LGBT love story script,
loneliness is dissected to reveal that even the simplest or briefest encounters, can provide a long-
lasting cure to a disease that still goes otherwise undetected, even today. The ache in Emmett’s soul
led him to Juan’s heart, but even a heart as young as Juan’s can struggle to accept the life (love) he
could (should) be living. Two lives, six stories, one tragedy.

MOCK TUDOR LAND- It’s Britain at the end of the 1950s, and Dr and Mrs Villiers, a staid, respectable
couple, are having a family get-together at their new house. In attendance are their son Geoffrey and
his girlfriend Maureen, their eldest son Raymond and his secret boyfriend, Leslie, and their eighteen-
year-old daughter Charlotte, who has been unwell and just returned from a sanatorium in Eastern
Europe in this drama with a bit of a bite!
While it’s obvious that there are a few family secrets, the first half of the story plays out as a sedate
family drama, although when a neighbour goes missing after visiting the Villiers house it’s clear that
something isn’t quite right. Suspicion seems to point to Dr Villiers being up to no good in his secret
basement laboratory, but when Maureen is attacked in the night by “an evil monster”, who is then
revealed to the audience to be the missing neighbour, Irene, the play takes a turn toward chilling
gothic horror.

Tom And Huck–Breakin’ The Law- What was the real relationship between Tom Sawyer and Huck
Finn? Was it platonic mateship or was there a romance? The teenagers in the script include: Tom,
Huck, Sid, Becky, and Newcomer Boy. The adults include Aunt Polly, Huck’s Pappy, the School Master,
and the Preacher. Some of the original adventures are present but twistedly different: Tom’s
whitewashing a fence, his engagement to Becky, Huck’s rafting with Big Jim, his drunkard Pappy’s
abuse, Tom and Huck bonding on Jackson’s Island, and their faked deaths.
