Stage 3 Mission

Mission: Answer the following questions about our favorite sales page.

1. How do they establish trust with the reader?

• The author references the research done by professionals. Saying that the team of neurobiologists and doctors
spent 1000s of hours working on the formula for this pill to ensure its effectiveness. Giving the product a seal
of approval, allows the consumer to feel at ease about any concerns the product might have on their health.

• Saying that the company “soft-launched” the product amongst a small group of individuals. Seeing one’s
peers speaking highly of the product and how well it improves their daily life makes other consumers want to
try it as well. It acts as a form of bandwagon.

• They offer a deal as well as a money-back guarantee. The average consumer might see a highly approved of
product and be hesitant to commit to it. Offering the consumer an “out” or a way to get a full refund just in
case is a good technique. At the least, they will buy the product and try it.

• The author paints a picture of the ideal customers struggles. Having trouble executing ideas, urgency to meet
deadlines, and struggling to manage time for work and family. By creating an avatar that resonates with the
ideal consumer ,that the product is for, and implementing their problems into the ad it creates a means of
attaining a solution to their problems.

2. What ways could this company increase LTV?

• They could offer a gift for those who buy the product within this certain deadline. Perhaps, a small guide with
tips on how to improve focus and concentration.

• The company could start and online gift shop with various merchandise all with their logo.

• Offer a membership of varying levels to those who have frequently bought the product. For a monthly
subscription they could get the product sent to them at a slightly lower price. At higher levels of membership,
members would get invites to exclusive events where they could meet other premium members as well as
have seminars about tips to use along with the product to improve effectiveness.

• Create a social web page customers can sign up to post on. This page would give customers a place to share
their experiences with the product and how it has improved their focus. As well as be a hub for interactions
with the company and possible new customers. The company can tease about any new deals or products in
the works to entice more sales.
