In class we have been learning about weather! The topics we are
going over are; lightening, thunder, tornadoes, floods. With these
topics we are talking about how these weather events can affect
our homes and communities. For this project you will gather
information about;

 The causes of severe weather storms


 The dangers associated with each
 Precautions that should be taken

 The National Hurricane Center – The National
Weather Center provides a great deal of information
at this site about the current storm season, tracking
information, and weather outlooks. Be sure to spend
some time here.
 NOAA Photo Library — Tornadoes – Tornadoes –
Explore images of tornadoes presented here. Look for
similarities and differences between the storm systems.
 Twister: The Tornado Story – Learn more about
tornadoes and the damage they can cause from this
