Patriarchy or a male-dominated society is one that benefits men in laws, education, academia, and day-to-day life but as the axiom goes, a woman is the ‘architect of a family, a nation, and the whole world’, thereby, the growing conversation about the acute need for gender equality and women empowerment is the necessity of the time. Awareness is to be created among the society about the true worth and power of women. It is high time to elevate a clarion call to accelerate sitive changes in the way women are looked upon. Moreover, the realization is mounting thatequality is no more a women-centric issue but an economic one. It is only in an egalitarian society that organizations and nations will realize their fullest potential and prosper. Like men, women should be made free and independent to make their own decisions.
