Ms Juanita Rea

practitioner and innovator. Her experience as a primary
school teacher at government schools in South Africa,
England and an international school in the Philippines
sparked her passion to drive global education reform and
innovation through access to arts and wellbeing
programmes primarily for underserved youth. As founder
of eduSOIL as well as country lead for Design For
Change Philippines, South Africa, Sudan and Northern
Ireland, she addresses the global mental health crisis
through intercultural community arts, youth leadership,
yoga and mindfulness programmes and products. Since
2011, Juanita has coached youth leaders and collaborated
with school leaders to nurture the innate creativity,
compassion and resilience of 16,000 primarily black, asian
and underserved people in 11 countries.

Michelle started Drake Music NI in 1992, on her return

University, she created the first weekly workshop delivery
in assistive technology creativity across the island of
Ireland. With a passion for inclusion, equality and
believing that everyone has the right to literally have
their voice heard, Michelle has spent 30 years at the
forefront of inclusive practice in NI, as a fundraiser, a
researcher and designer, a trainer and also a
practitioner.
Dr Suzanne Mynette Mayo

Dr. Mayo makes others’ dreams come true through her
innovative and strategic training techniques using passion,
purpose and persistence as her core values. Known around
the world as a “dot connector,” Dr. Mayo brings to bear a
distinguished career in public service, entrepreneurship,
economic and community development, and family/ child
advocacy since 1979. She works closely with policy and
decision-makers, educators and business leaders across the
country and abroad on the issues of diversity, inclusion and
social advancement. Dr. Mayo is currently a Lecturer at
Grambling State University in the Department of Family
and Consumer Sciences. She is an educator, a researcher, an
author, an entrepreneur and fundraiser, a trainer, a
strategist, an association manager and a community
planner. Her philosophy on life is to always be a
“Transformational Leader with a Servant Spirit.”
Dr Jennifer Gillis

Dr Gillis is a dedicated educator and researcher,
boasting two decades of expertise in clinical psychology
and special education. She co-leads Binghamton
University's Institute for Child Development (ICD),
offering community services, advanced training, and

Dr Tracy Layman is an experienced certified Elementary and
Special Education teacher in New York. With over two decades
of teaching experience, she is a lecturer at Binghamton
University's Department of Teaching, Learning, and
Educational Leadership. Tracy specializes in mental health and
special education, teaching at both undergraduate and
postgraduate levels. In addition to her teaching responsibilities,
Tracy mentors student teachers in early childhood, elementary,
and special education. She also works as an Early Intervention
Specialist, focusing on children from birth to 3 years with
