What are the pre-analytical, analytical, post analytical factors that could affect the clinical chemistry
section testing process. Give an example of possible error a medical technologist can commit in each
testing phase. How can you resolve the problem or mistake?

There are numerous issues that may arise while carrying out these phases.
For example, when we say pre-analytical, we mean the first stage or process that the patient will go
through before receiving the results of the test he or she requested. At this stage, the test request ,home
patient and specimen identification, specimen collection, transport, accessioning, and processing are all
being handled. However, improper performances prior to the specimens being measured by analysis tools,
such as improper sample collection, transport delays, illegible handwriting on requisitions, and so on, can
occur; however, as medical allied, we must ensure that our jobs are being performed correctly, ensuring
valuable medical decision making and effective patient care because that is our primary responsibility.Let
us now move on to the analytical phase, where specimen testing is performed. However, as with the
pre-analytical stage, we may encounter a number of errors, such as incorrect identification, an incorrect
tube, an insufficient sample quantity, clotting, contamination, hemolysis, and exposure to extreme
temperatures, all of which can result in specimen rejection for testing. All of these are examples of
common specimen testing errors. But, as I've learned from my subject teachers, we must stay focused, and
if we make a few mistakes, we must stay calm, focus, and consider all of the possible solutions to our
problems. If you don't know what to do, don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it. After many years,
finally, the post-analytical yes! In this phase, the reporting test results, interpretation, follow up, and
storage are included. There are times when allieds make an error and retest the sample if it is completely
necessary, and there are also a few errors such as the result of the test being sent to the wrong patient,
critical results not being reported or being delayed, or the worst being failure to report test results, but
there is always room for improvement failure is part of the process of growing, but that doesn't mean you
should dwell on it and do nothing because you're afraid of making a mistake; instead, you should always
try to avoid them and strive to be a better version of yourself. Of course, the goal is to be the best medical
allied worker the patient has ever had.
