    The Cake Mistake


    Luke likes to bake. He makes cupcakes. He makes scones. He
    makes muffins. But what Luke likes to bake best is cake.

    Luke wants to make a lime cake. He dumps milk and cubes of


    cane in a pan. He sets it on a flame. Luke spots smoke! It is
    not a flame. It is a blaze!

    Luke slides the pan to the side. “Yikes!” Luke yelps. “That was
    close!”

    Luke grates a lime. He slides the lime zest inside the pan. A
    bit of lime lands in a pile on the tile. Luke steps on the lime.
    Luke slides on the lime!

    Luke grabs the stove. “Yikes!” Luke yelps. “That was close!”

    Luke grins. It is time to glaze the cake.


    Luke tips the glaze onto the cake. Luke wipes the glaze on the
    cake. The blade slides into the cake. The cake has a huge
    hole in it.

    “Yikes!” Luke states. “It was a mistake to bake this cake!”
