Appendix A (Conditional Offer)

Information on the Admission Offer

Congratulations on being accepted to be a member of community of excellence. Below is a list of

important information that needs the utmost attention from all candidates. The offer of conditional
admission is valid for the semester indicated in the offer letter, after which it will lapse without prior
notice. Hence, candidates are strongly advised to submit the proof of English requirement at the soonest
time possible.

1. Admission Condition

(1) Candidates are given an offer of admission with the condition that you meet the English
Language Entry Requirements set by the University.

(3) Should the candidate accept this offer, please provide evidence of the English Language entry
requirements to skp_aasc@um.edu.my.

(4) If you are planning to obtain your English Language entry requirement through Universiti Malaya,
please liaise with University of Malaya Centre for Continuing Education (UMCCed) via email at
umcced_elpp@um.edu.my for registration purposes.

(5) Should the candidate does not fulfill the minimum English Language entry requirements by the
date stipulated, the offer will be considered NULL and VOID

2. Terms and Conditions

Notwithstanding the terms and conditions of the study programme stated in the admission letter,
Universiti Malaya reserves the right to amend the said terms and conditions. All candidates shall be
subject to the amendments as may be decided by the University from time to time.
