STRETCHING EXERCISES
- Stretching is a form of physical exercise in
which a specific muscle or tendon is
deliberately expanded and flexed in order
to improve the muscle’s felt elasticity and
achieve the comfortable muscle tone.

NECK STRETCH - Slowly and gently tilt


the head laterally. You may increase the
degree of the stretch by gently pulling with
one hand. Look straight forward.

ARM CIRCLES - Gently circle your arms


all the way around. Conduct the exercise in
both directions

SIDE STRETCH - Stand upright, and feet


separated to shoulder width, and hands on
your waist. Now bend the upper body to
the right with other arm extends over the
head, towards the right.

BODY ROTATION - Place your arms


slightly away from the body and rotate the
trunk, hold the final position for several
seconds.

CHEST STRETCH - Stand tall with your


feet shoulder-width apart. Interlace your
fingers behind your back and straighten
your arms. Keep your chest lifted and pull
your shoulder blades downward.

HEEL CORD STRETCH - Stand against


the wall or edge of a step and stretch
the heel downward, alternating legs.
Hold the stretched position for a few
seconds.
