St. Alphonsus O my Lord Jesus Christ, I adore the wound in Thy left foot. I thank Thee for having suffered it for me
Liguori’s Little with so much sorrow and with so much love. I compassionate Thy pain, and that of Thine afflicted
Chaplet of Mother. And, by the merit of this sacred wound, I pray Thee to grant me the pardon of my sins, of
Christ’s Five which I repent with all my heart, because they have offended Thine infinite goodness. O sorrowing
Wounds. Mary, pray to Jesus for me.

O my Lord Jesus Christ, I adore the wound in Thy right foot. I thank Thee for having suffered it for me
with so much sorrow and with so much love. I compassionate Thy pain, and that of Thine afflicted
Mother. And, by the merit of this sacred wound, I pray Thee to give me the strength not to fall into
mortal sin for the future, but to persevere in Thy grace unto my death. O sorrowing Mary, pray to Jesus
for me.

O my Lord Jesus Christ, I adore the wound in Thy left hand. I thank Thee for having suffered it for me
with so much sorrow and with so much love. I compassionate Thy pain, and that of Thine afflicted
Mother. And, by the merit of this sacred wound, I pray Thee to deliver me from Hell, which I have so
often deserved, where I could never love Thee more. O sorrowing Mary, pray to Jesus for me.

O my Lord Jesus Christ, I adore the wound in Thy right hand. I thank Thee for having suffered it for me
with so much sorrow and with so much love. I compassionate Thy pain, and that of Thy most afflicted
Mother. And, by the merit of this sacred wound, I pray Thee to give me the glory of Paradise, where I
shall love Thee perfectly, and with all my strength. O sorrowing Mary, pray to Jesus for me.

O my Lord Jesus Christ, I adore the wound in Thy side. I thank Thee for having willed, even after Thy
death, to suffer this additional injury, without pain indeed, yet with consummate love. I compassionate
Thine afflicted Mother, who alone felt all its pain. And, by the merit of this sacred wound, I pray Thee to
bestow upon me the gift of holy love for Thee, that so I may ever love Thee in this life, and in the other,
face to face, for all eternity, in Paradise. O sorrowing Mary, pray to Jesus for me.

By all the wounds which Thou didst bear

With so much love and so much pain,
Oh, let a sinner's prayer
Thy mercy, Lord, obtain!

Dies Irae O day of wrath, that day

Meditation on when the earth will be reduced to ashes,
the Last as David and the Sibyl both testify!
Judgement
(From Divine What great fear there will be,
Office, All Souls’ when the judge comes
Day) to judge all things strictly.

A trumpet casts a wondrous sound

into the realm of the tombs,
calling all to come before the throne.

Death and nature will both marvel

as the human race rises
to answer its judge.

A book will be brought forth

in which all things are recorded –
all that for which the world will be judged.
When, therefore, the judge appears,
all that is hidden will appear,
and no ills will remain unavenged.

As miserable as I am, what am I to say?

whose protection may I invoke,
when even the just lack security?

O most majestic King,

who freely saves those to be saved,
save me, source of mercy!

Remember, merciful Jesus,

that I am the one for whom you came:
may I not be lost on that day!

Seeking me, you sat down tired:

to redeem me, you suffered the Cross –
may your toil not be in vain!

Just and avenging judge,

may you grant remission of sins
before the day of reckoning.

Guilty, now I sigh,

my face red with shame:
save thy petitioner, o God!

Having absolved Mary Magdalene,

and heard the plea of the thief,
may you give me hope as well.

Though my prayers are not worthy,

be kind to me, o Good One,
that I may be spared the eternal fire!

Place me among the sheep,

and separate me from the goats,
setting me at your right hand.

When the wicked are confounded

and given over to bitter flames:
call me among the blessed.

Meek and humble, I pray,

with a heart contrite as ashes:
Help me reach my final end.

How tearful that day will be,

when from the ashes will arise
the guilty man for judgment.
Therefore spare me, O God!

Amen.
