CURSOR:- the vertical line on the screen is called cursor. It indicate the current cursor position where we are typing or editing.
key board has 6 rows 21 columns (approximately)
1. a to z :- 3rd 4th and 5th rows 2. CapsLock : to type every thing in capital letters 3. BackSpace:- to remove left character of cursor 4. Delete:- to remove right side character to cursor 5. Enter key:- Moving to next line / opening / executing what we have selected. 3. Shift key (left hand/right hand) :- To type individual alphabets in capitals. Every key has two functions without Shift Key and with Shift key example whithout shift : 1 with shift : ! (Exclamatiory ) 4. Four Arrow keys:- Left Arrow:- to move cursor one character left Right Arrow:- to move cursor one character right Up Arrow:- moves cursor one line up Dowm Arrow:- moves cursor one line down 5. Home key:- moves cursor to the beginig of line 6. End key:- moves cursor to the end of the line 7. Page up:- move one screen up 8. Page Down: - moves one screen down 9. Space Bar:- give one empty space/ moves right one character 10. Tab Key:- Moves cursor 8 charactrer to right 11. Second Row:- to type numbers 0 to 9 (with out shift) 12. Num Lock:- to type numbers 13. Window Key(left hand/right hand):- equal to clicking START button on TASKBAR 15. ESC key:- deselecting an selected option 16. Function keys:- F1 to F10/F12, works differently in different softwares. 17. Alt/Ctrl :- individually they will not function.
