    Description

    The general objective of our project is to develop Web - Based Student Union
    Voting System for ARBAMINCH UNIVERSITY.

    Specific Objective
    ➢ Design a user interactive interface that can help to perform voting process
    ➢ Design a Normalized Database which stores Voting data within different
    relations
    ➢ Test the system using different testing methods to be sure the system is
    implemented with all the expected system functionalities.
    ➢ To develop more secured system to ensure voting fairness and a good
    interface to make it easy to use.
    ➢ To manage accounts for the user.
    ➢ To allow legally student can register to the system and participating in the
    voting process.
    Scope of the Project
    The scope of the project refers to the area where the ongoing system is applied
    and the overall features of what the new system is capable of doing. The scope of
    this project is developing web-based student union voting system for ARBAMINCH
    UNIVERSITY. This system is cable of registering Candidates and Voters, Web -
    Based vote, calculate votes for each Candidate, posting final result and at the end
    of election generate report.
