A period of time that changed your life

Intro:

I vividly recall putting on those crisp white school uniforms for the first time. Stepping into my
freshman year of high school felt like entering a whole new world – exciting, scary, and full of
unknowns. I was like a small fish about to set foot into a big pond.

Past:

Those first few weeks were a whirlwind. New faces, different classrooms, mountains of
homework! Everything felt so much bigger, faster. Lunch breaks buzzed with unfamiliar voices,
while classes tested my brain in ways it never had before. I stumbled sometimes and felt lost
in the crowd, but somehow, I pushed through, fueled by a mix of nervous anticipation and the
thrill of discovery.

Description:

Our classrooms became second homes – the smell of chalk dust and paper filling the air, the
hum of learning echoing through the corridors. The old chalkboard creaked under Miss Lan's
enthusiastic writing, while sunlight streamed through the dusty windows, painting patterns on
our desks. It wasn't all books and tests, however. Laughter crackled between classmates,
whispers were exchanged over shared lunches, and late-night study sessions forged new
friendships.

Opinion:

Looking back, that first year wasn't just about grades or exams. It was about finding my place
in this new world. I couldn’t really get my head around the social scene but finally, I caught on
and learned to swim with the sharks.

Future:

I plan to keep those experiences under my belt so that I can confidently conquer any unfamiliar
situation. I plan on keeping in touch with my friends and sharing those experiences whenever
my friends need cheering up.
