On Monday, January 22nd, I began the preparations for our upcoming tabling event in February.

This event holds great significance as it is a collaborative effort with the Black Student Alliance,

aimed at celebrating Black History Month. As I worked on organizing this event, I realized the

tremendous value it brought to my time management skills. At our workplace, we rely on a

useful app called Trello. This application has been instrumental in helping me stay organized

and efficient throughout the planning process. Trello allows me to create checklists for each

step and milestone involved in the event planning. Moreover, it offers a platform to receive

valuable feedback and assistance from my colleagues, making the planning process even more

seamless. I truly appreciate the opportunity to enhance my time management abilities and

collaborate with the Black Student Alliance on this important occasion.

On Tuesday, January 23rd, I was working to prepare our weekly event which is called

Tupperware Tuesday and to prepare for that event I worked with other student workers, grad

assistants to make sure that the word was spread to the student body about our event that day.

I worked with my group to finalize my tabling event for Black History Month, and it will be called

“Celebrating Black Excellence” and the Women’s Center and LGBTQ+ Program will be

partnering Black Student Alliance to host this event. Then on Wednesday, January 24th, it was

a chill day at the office. The only things on the agenda were our staff meeting, and dealing with

that staff meeting we talked about an upcoming event and what needs to be done to have those

events ready.

On Thursday, January 24th, I met with some potential students who are thinking about attending

Georgia College in the Fall. So, while they were there, I talked to them about the Women's

Center and LGBTQ+ Program and I went over some events we have and some things that the

program provides to students.

Finally, on Friday, January 25th, I worked with some student workers and grad assistants to go

around campus to refill the menstrual station around campus that is located in every women’s

bathroom on campus. And also, well doing that we noted certain women’s bathroom campuses

that did not have a menstrual station in there, so that we can work on fixing that next week.
