As Deputy Project Manager, led eight contracts and twenty employees in the fields of Cyber Security, Program
Management, Operational Resilience, and Privacy. Wrote and executed security control assessment procedures
for Veterans Affairs Security Control Assessment teams. Analyzed Nessus scan results of VA systems using
analytic techniques to show trends in vulnerability reporting. Assessed cloud systems for vulnerabilities and
provided hardening guidance. Created assessment procedures for over 1,100 security controls and control
enhancements. Crafted custom assessment tools by coding Microsoft Visual Basic programs. Conducted
security control assessments of VA facilities by analyzing design documentation, system security plans, and the
facility’s security posture to determine compliance. Developed corresponding risk assessments and deficiency
action plans. Wrote custom standard operating procedures for Windows, AIX, OpenVMS, UNIX, and Solaris
systems.

Built my own cybersecurity lab to test and learn about the latest vulnerabilities, technologies, and trends in the
