Hi, Im Soumi DE from Mallabhum Institute of Technology. I have got selected after two more campuses from TCS and INFOSYS. It is easy to crack n satyam if u prepare yourself in right way. It was pooled on 29th Feb on UIT, BURDWAN among 3 colleges

There were 4 rounds:

1. 2. 3. 4. Aptitude test Essay writing ( Not elimination round) HR Technical Round

Aptitude test Sorry I cant remember all the questions. But some are like this a. Question on Pyramid series (Little bit tough) b. Questions on Ages c. Bar Graph d. If @=0, *=1 @* =1 *@=2 Then find the value of @@@* ( Simply use binary concept) e. The ratio of A,B,C will be 1:3:5. Then what is the right answer? 12:15:45 2:67:45 9:27:45 None of these Third one is the right answer f. Profit and Loss: A person buys 2 cloths by each of them at Rs. 1460. He sells first one at 20% profit and last one at 35% loss. Find his net profit or loss in %

Remember dont try to guess any question because there is negative marking (.25) for each wrong answer. So if u know the correct answer then do it, otherwise dont. Dont do all the answers. There is upper cut off also. I answered 8 questions out of 15. Time was 30 Mins. 400 students appeared and only 72 were selected. Essay Writing:

Satyam always notices weather u r strong in English or not. They had an essay writing round. We were given 6 topics a. Premarital sex b. Advantages of smoking c. IPL Makes mockery in cricket (This was my topic) d. Love marriage Vs Arranged Marriage

Rest I cant remember. 7 mins were given to write the essay/ HR:

Sir was looking the essay at that time and asked questions on that. Dont make any grammatical mistake and spelling mistake. If you are selected in HR then they will give u permission to go in technical round. Technical Round:

As I am a third year IT Student he was asking me on my subject. It was also HR Round + Technical round for me. He was asking me about my parents, my bf, my hobbies, my +ve points, -ve points. Be prepared in C, Data structures, Java, OS (Operating system) and present technology (They will see your upto date knowledge). Out of 72 only 29 were selected for both. Lastly 23 were selected by them. Dont get afraid. Be calm and cool. Always go with a pleasant smile. Wish him just after entering the room. Dont try to pretend, Remember they can read u. If you dont know any answer just tell him. Try to ask questions of that company (But dont ask the salary package).
