The qualification mentioned in the Schedule shall be the qualification mentioned in the Schedule to the Central Act.
A post-graduate qualification and experienced mentioned in the Schedule shall stand amended in accordance with the
recognition or de-recognition, as the case may be, of such post-graduate qualification and experience by the Medical Council of
India / National Medical Commission, from time to time.
A person appointed to the post of the Associate professor shall be required to get registered his name in the registere maintained
under the Maharashtra Medical Council Act, 1965 (Mah. XLVI of 1965) or in the register maintained under the Indian Medical
Council Act, 1956 (Central II of 1956), before joining the appointment, unless he has already been so registered and his name is
borne on the Indian Medical Register.
All the selections will be made as per the MCI/NMC norms.

Nature of Job - Teaching


The basic course in Medical Education Technology from Institutions
designated by NMC completed certificate.
The basic course in Biomedical Research from Institutions designated
by NMC completed certificate.
A person appointed to the post of the Associate professor shall be required to get registered his name in the registere
mainintained under the Maharashtra Medical Councial Act, 1965 (Mah. XLVI of 1965) or in the register maintained under
the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Central II of 1956), before joining the appointment, unless he has already been so
registered and his name is borne on the Indian Medical Registere.
If required by the Government of India, a person appointed to the post of the Associate Professor shall, be liable to serve in
any Defence Service of India or in a post connected with the Defence of India, anywhere in India or abroad for a period of
not less than four years, including the period spent on training, if any on such conditions as mey be determined by the
Government of India.
Provided that, such person shall not be required to serve as aforesaid, after the expiry of ten years from the date of his
appointment, or on attaining the age of fifty years whichever is earlier.
