Scenario and activity:

You are an associate IT/IS Business Analyst responsible for managing multiple
processes and procedures for optimizing business solutions in [named global
organisation/an organisation of your choice – your own place of work if appropriate]
and you have been asked by the IT/IS project manager to create a report that will
show the effectiveness of having multiple digital technology solutions to improve
processes/workflows and to achieve business objectives. This report will be
distributed to all the departments within the organisation, so you must ensure you
define and analyse all aspects of digital technologies.

The IT/IS project manager would like you to complete this report and the report
must consist of the following:
1. Analyse the use of multiple digital technologies in supporting knowledge
management, data management and customer service management. Ensure that you
define and analyse each of these aspects of business.

2. Examine how modern strategies in digital business influence the achievement of

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in a successful manner within the context of your
chosen organization.

3. Using the main business units/ departments of your organisation, explore and
evaluate the effectiveness of the use of digital technologies to achieve business
objectives. Ensure that you provide examples from your organization to support
judgements.

4. Critically reflect on how range of digital business approaches within the global
organisations to promote new business growth. Give examples where appropriate and
draw conclusions.
