Sub: Introduction of CVAC on the basis of right and appropriate selection of courses

Sir/Madam,

With due respect and humble submission we beg to lay the following few lines for your kind
perusal and necessary action.

(i) That J.U. has prescribed “Sports and Yoga Education” as CVAC for the Sem II and the
same is focused on only health issues of a student and has nothing to do with his/her
employability. It is entirely extra-curricular that remains excluded upto the H.S. level in
our present state education system.
(ii) That there are other more important courses in the UGC list that would better enhance
the employment opportunities and suited to the present generation global needs.
(iii) It is worth mentioning here that the CU and RKM have exercised and formulated better
courses to cope with present digital literacy and domestic application of electronics as
well as health disorders, lifestyle diseases and their management.

We, therefore, hope that our university would be wise and prudent enough to add value to
this 4 year UG degree in order to compete with others.
