For the people of West Java, where Gedung Sate is now the headquarters of the Provincial Government of
West Java gives pride. The building is in addition to the high historical value also its presence known not
only indigenous people but nationally, buildings built since July 27, 1920 This is a historical asset, even
internationally also know, given this building was built in the Dutch colonial period. No wonder if the
building is located in Bandung is a feature and a symbol of West Java. The skewers were stuck at the top of

One day, when Sangkuriang was hunting, he accidentally killed his beautiful black dog Si Tumang. This dog was actually
Sangkuriang ‘s father who had been condemned to live the life of dog by his GURU. However, Sangkuriang never knew it.
Sangkuriang had been separated from his mother since childhood. On his way home, he stopped at a small village
and fell in love with a beautiful girl. He didn’t realize that the village was his homeland nor that the beautiful girl was his
own sacred mother who remained young and pretty.
Their love grew naturally and one day, when they were discussing their wedding plans, Dayang Sumbi suddenly
realized that the profile of Sangkuriang’s head matched that of her son’s who had left twenty years earlier. How could she
marry with her own son? But she didn’t wish to disappoint him. So she agreed to marry Sangkuriang only on the condition
that he would provide a lake and a boat with which they could sail on their wedding day the next day at dawn.
Sangkuriang accepted this condition. He damned up the Citarum river to make a lake. Dayang Sumbi realized that
Sangkuriang would fulfill the condition she had set. With a wave of her supernatural shawl, she lit up the eastern horizon
with flashes of light. Deceived by false dawn, the cock crowed and farmers rose for the new day.
Sangkuriang realized that he failed to finish the boat. With all his anger, he kicked the unfinished boat upside-
down. The boat is now known as the mount Tangkuban Perahu.

($1,7m, 1,1m ) in compensation. Roseanne Beckett was jailed in 1991 for trying killing to kill her ex-
husband, but her conviction was quashed in 2005 amid claims she was framed. She successfully sued
the state of New South Wales ( NSW ) for malicious prosecution in 2013. On Monday, the Supreme

There were many twists in the long-running case that was covered extensively by Australian media.
Ms.Beckett cried after the judgement was handed down. “ Victory, at long last victory, “ she told local
media. “ I have been going to bed with it for 26 years.

I have woken up with it for 26 years. I have had nightmares, “ she said. In 2013, Ms Beckett accused
the Crown and the Department of Public Prosecution of spending hundreds of millions of taxpayer
dollars blocking her from pursuing her case. Ms. Beckett, who is from the city of Wollongong, South of
Sydney, was accused of trying to poison her husband, Barry Catt, and of soliciting other people to kill

that may interest you.Also,you can browse around in a bookstore and ask the clerk to help
you find a good book.Surely, you can borrow books from friends, but make sure you return
them.
If you plan to check out books from a library,following are some tips to help you select
books and find them more easily.Firstly,read the front and back covers of the book and find
out whether you think it is interesting or not .Secondly, check the number of pages of the
book.If you happen to be a beginner , it is better to begin with a short book. Then if you like
a bok, read one or two pages. Find out if you can understand it. Finally, which is the most
important thing, the books should be interesting to you.
The next step is to read your book every day. Also,try to read your book very
quickly,which is another way to learn more English.Moreover,if you like your book,tell a
friend about it.
In the beginning ,you may find it difficult to read in English ,but do not give up.Keep

Jellyfish
Jellyfish are not really fish. They are invertebrate animals. This means that unlike fish or people, they
have no backbones. In fact, they have no bones at all.
Jellyfish have stomachs and mouths, but no heads. They have nervous systems for sensing the world

Some jellyfish can glow in darkness by making their own light. The light is made by a chemical reaction

Once upon a time, there was a princess in Umbul Wening named Dewi Arum who had an
unusual habit. Everytime she took a bath, she forgot about everything; food, rest, even her duties as a
princess.
The King and queen often scolded Dewi Arum for her habit. But she never paid attention to
them. One day, Umbul Wening was struck by a plague. Many of its citizen died. Many physicians tried
to cure the people of Umbul Wening but they all failed.
Suddenly a monk came to see the king and said he had a vision from God. According to the
monk, this plague could be cured using the plants that lived in the lake located in the Krendhawahana
Forest. But it had to be taken only by Dewi Arum.
So the king and Dewi Arum agreed. She then went to the forest.After a long and tiring
journey,she finally arrived at the lake. Seeing the clear and blue water, Dewi Arum jumped and took a
bath in the lake. She forgot about her duty to go and get the cure for her people. Being worried about
her daughter, the king went after her. He was surprised to see her daughter was bathing in the lake and
forgot about the duties. The king was furious.
“ Dewi Arum ! What are you doing ? Our people are dying and here you are having fun bathing in
the lake. Since you enjoy being in the lake so much,you should become part of the lake !”
Right after the king had finished his sentence, Dewi Arum turned into a beautiful red flower.
The king was sad to see what happened to her, so, he picked the flower and went back to his kingdom.
When the king arrived with the flower, the sickness that had been plaguing the kingdom was gone. The
beautiful flower that was once Dewi Arum is called lotus. It always grows in lakes.

Losari beach is a beautiful beach and located on the edge city of Makassar. It is located only
about 3 km from the center of Makassar (Karebosi Park). The beach used to be the longest café in Asia,
because many cafes stand in along the beach, but now the cafes are collected in a special place so it

stands out. This is a major attraction of people’s coming to the Losari beach.

is absolutely perfect. Because of its location in a bay, the water of Losari is even often quiet as usual

Pelataran Bahari (Marine Park), with semicircular area of nearly one hectarE. This place is a plaza with
a clean floor for children to play and running around, while parents and teens sit on concrete benches to
enjoy the sea breezE. From this place, you are also free to view out to the sea and watch the sunset
slowly turns reddish in the line of the horizon. The reflected light also creates sheen on the surface of
sea water.
The Pelataran Bahari also serves as the stadium of open water to watch the coastal waters in
front of Losari beach. This coastal water is often used as a racecourse jet ski, boat races and traditional
boat jolloro katinting, or become a transit point of rely of Sandeq traditional sailboats and yachts.
In Losari there are also a few hotels. Some of them qualified as a tree stars hotel. The hotel is offering
panoramic beauty of the sea with luxury service treats. There are Losari Beach Hotel, Losari Beach Inn,

A kangaroo is an animal found only in Australia. It has a small relative called a wallaby, that lives in
Tasmania and New Guinea. Kangaroos eat grass and plants. They have short front legs, long and
strong back legs and a tail. These are used to sit up and jump. Kangaroos are well known for their 8-
meter forward jumps and more than 3-meters high leap across fences. They can also run at the speed
of over 45 kilometers per hour. The largest kangaroos are the Great Grey Kangaroos and Red
Kangaroos. Adult kangaroos grow to a meter in length and 90 kilos in weight. Kangaroos are
marsupials. This means that the female kangaroo has an external pouch on the front of her body. The
baby kangaroo is very tiny when it was born. It right away crawls into its mother's pouch where it
spends the first five months of its life.
