    Background scan Overview

    To achieve Background scan there are four steps we must take. Below there is a high-level breakdown in
    each step, this will let you better understand the process, where we are, and whats next.

    1. Learn about the reader its connectivity, features, SDK features and codes.

    2. Connect to the reader via TCP/IP connection.

    3. Write test codes to connect to the reader and receive its data using python.

    4. Convert test code from python to Visual Studio code.

    5. Integrate code into KADTRACK.

    6. Test integration.

    7. Write background scan codes

    8. Test background scan.

    So far, we are now at Step 4 converting the codes from python to Visual Studio and testing so far, it’s a
    success. Our next step is to integrate code into KADTRACK and test integration.

    Mathias is still working on the integrations. And setting up tables functions in the database.

    Look ahead, test integration.
