The Chief Operator is at the top of our structure because of the crucial role it plays in our

organization. They ensure smooth day to day operations and oversee various aspects of our

wellness retreat resort. Some of these responsibilities may include staff management, facility

maintenance, and logistics. With activities that were offered such as fitness, spa retreats, creative

workshops, etc. the chief operator will ensure that all staff is properly trained and adequate to run

these events following proper protocols. This position will be responsible for overseeing the

roles and duties of the Guest Services Manager and Program Manager.

Our Guest Service Manager is responsible for ensuring that guests are satisfied with their

retreat experience as well as overseeing front of the house staff and leadership roles, Shift

Manager and Front Desk Supervisor. The importance of their position is to maintain a positive

environment for guests and to accommodate their needs. By handling guest feedback, it will

allow for company improvement and better meet guest expectations. The front desk supervisor

will ensure that all guests are checked in and have proper reservations made during their stay.

They will be responsible for overseeing front desk attendants as well as upselling and promoting
resort packages. Shift Manager is in charge of tackling any obstacles that staff may face

throughout the day. It is important that they are alert at all times since there are numerous

departments around the facility that may need extra assistance. They will serve as coverage for

any hourly staff that need to take breaks between shifts to ensure that departments, especially the

front desk is never left unattended. Shift Manager will be in charge of operational staff which

include housekeeping, front desk, transportation, marketing, recreation, and security. These are

the people working with the guests to ensure that they are receiving the best experience possible.

The chief officer is overseeing the program manager which is responsible for planning,

organizing, and overseeing various activities. They focus on the scheduling, marketing, and

logistics of each event which instructors and operators are responsible for running the activities.

These positions are important because guests are coming to our resort specifically for expert

guidance.
