Ductility:
steel can be formed to fit any façade shape
Thermal Conductivity:
steel conducts heat very well: when applied to facades, proper
thermal insulation is needed
Weight:
aluminium is less dense and lighter than steel

Corrosion:
aluminium does not need corrosion protection
