Original Sin, Evil and Free Will

The story of Adam and Eve. Most of us familiar with that story. So lets make a brainstorm about
evil and the free will, and the result of Adam and Eve's sin, original sin.

When Lord God created Adam, he commanded him to abstain from eating the tree of knowledge
of good and evil, otherwise God told him that he shalt die. Actually, that was the point we can
%100 acknowledge that God left Adam with his free will. So, yes, that was the first time God
respected to the free will of men. So the story goes, Eve been created and she was deceived by
Satan, then convinced her husband to eat from that tree. But before we jump to the afterwards of
this story, maybe we should understand the situation of Adam and Eve in that Garden of Eden.
They were in a state of purity, they were in a state of grace. Adam could look at Eve's breasts
without even feeling sexually triggered. They were fully united to God and his grace.

Conclusion 1
Free will existed before Original sin
Humans received the full gifts of God
Humans werent ignorant or unintelligent
Humans were pure in both heart and mind

If we take a look at the reason why Eve been deceived (Genesis 3:6), she actually ate the fruit
because she wanted to be wise, out of all, she liked the look of fruit. Afterwards, what happened?
Boom, the original sin, the first sin ever on earth.

And their first reaction after the sin, they realised that they were naked. Which means now they
can feel ashamed of their bodies because it is something that is desirable and thus, they arent
pure now.

1-But at the same time, God told Adam that if he would eat from that tree, he shall die. So, a
question rises from that statement about the nature of original sin. Is it original sin that makes
people endly? Answer is no. Since Jesus and Mary was pure and out of the original sin and yet
both died, we come to the conclusion that original sin is the reason why we are dying, but we
dont die because of the nature of original sin, instead, due to the original sin, now human nature
have the death.

2-So, what is original sin and why is it matters? Because we all born within sin and even carry it
in the womb of our mother according to David (Psalms 51:5). Original Sin is the separation of
men from God. It is the removal of glasses of innocency. And everybody carried that separation
from God in their born.

3-Do we sin because of the Original Sin? It is yes and no at the same time. As we can see Adam
and Eve sinned before the existence of Original Sin, but it was due to the existence of devil why
they sinned ,and if we take a look we can realise that they committed that sin not out of a bad
desire, more like they were deceived. But on the other hand, since the glasses of purity is gone -
because of Original Sin-, we now sin very hard. It is now we have the tendency to sin. Cuz, we
are separated from God.

4-So, let's continue with devil's work. We remember that the actual architect of Original Sin is
Devil. Devil has been dragging people to sins for millenniums. But so, isnt it Original Sin what
gave us the sinful nature, or is it because the fallen angel Lucifer? I would like to introduce my
own concept of the nature of sin.

Inner-Devil

Inner Devil is the concept of one's tendency to sin, and the new characteristics of menkind after
the feast from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Inner Devil is the new nature of
humans ,or the thing caused Adam to feel ashamed.

1- The concept of Inner Devil might be two different things; -the space humans giving to satan, -
the state of menkind without the glasses of innocence
But in both cases, it is the new sinful nature of men which allows satan or satanic spirits to work
in human body.

2- Inner Devil is a whole different thing than Original Sin

3-Original Sin is the cause of Inner Devil, but Inner Devil's nature and Original Sin's nature is
different things

4-According to “Amen, Amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being
born of water and Spirit” (John 3:5), and if baptism removes the Original Sin which is the
separation of men from God, we come to the conclusion that someone with Original Sin cannot
enter heaven since they are separated from God. But can someone enter heaven with Inner
Devil? Absolutely. And this is where Purgatory enters the chat. Since Jesus died on the cross and
paid the redemption of our sins, and now may be forgiven through confession and in
purgatory ,if we are still sinful, it is where God purifies us from sins. So, does the purgatory
removes Inner Devil? My answer is I dont know and it is not important. Since there is no devil or
anything thats not pure , theres nothing that can use Inner Devil to trick us.

5-And also, as i just defined ,Inner Devil is a worldly concept. Thats why Inner Devil has no
importance afterlife.

6-All of men's bad desires comes from Inner Devil. Within our Inner Devil we have tendency to
adultery, urge to steal and kill, wish for lust, and ignorance of God. But it is Satan himself who
puts the fire to our Inner Devil.

Baptism and Inner Devil

Until now, we know that baptism removes the Original Sin. Because baptism is a re-union with
God ,and even physically we receive and re-unite with the Holy Spirit. So what baptism to do
with Inner Devil. I would reply, it is the gate that opens us the hall of grace of God. If we want to
be saved from Inner Devil, we first need to make it to heaven. Because to avoid from sin or
Satan's interaction with our Inner Devil, we need a place where Satan cannot enter. So, as i
mentioned above, we also need to get baptised to make it to heaven. When all the paradigms
combined, baptism has everything to do with Inner Devil since we need it to get released from
Inner Devil.

First Sin
The first sin....
What is a sin, what makes an action a sin? My answer is sin is anything prohibited by God. So,
through a basic logical way, i come to the conclusion that since God is good, everything he
prohibits are bad. So, that makes the first sin bad. But from all the context i mentioned above,
how can Adam and Eve commit a bad thing before they had the Inner Devil?

Then the serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die! For God knows that on the day
you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and
evil.”(Genesis 3:4-5)

If we take a look at the verses from the Book of Genesis ,we find out that Satan used Godness to
deceive Eve. But, is it a bad desire for us to wish to be like God? Did Eve actually committed a
bad thing wishing to be like her God? My answer is, no! Some shall ask:
Wasnt that the thing why Satan had fall? Didnt he tried to become like God? Didnt he deceived
people to worship him because he wanted to become a God? Eventually, from a Christian
perspective, i must say that all the history of menkind we get from the Bible is the history of men
to become like God. All the things humans gone through was a path for humanity to be like Him,
reunite with him. He Himself tells us that we were created in his own image and likeness. He
commands "And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Speak to all the congregation of the children
of Israel, and say to them: You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy."(Leviticus 19:1-2)
He wants us to be holy, JUST LIKE HIM. He wants us to be clean just like him. He wants to live
with us. And humanity is the ONLY race that ever created by God in His own image and in His
own likeness. And that has been the case for like ever. Even according to Athanasius "The Word
of God became human so that humans might become deified by grace." What was the meaning?
Why Jesus came here?

It is all because God wants His own image ,the work of His own hands to be like him! He sent
His only Son to cleanse us from dirt because He is clean and we should be clean too. He the God
of Abraham who gave us life and free will and He the LORD God wants us to be with Him
WITH our own will and choice.

So, going back to the first question;

Is it a bad desire for people to be like God? No!
Had Eve had bad desires while eating the fruit? No!

If Adam and Eve hadnt had bad desires eating from that tree, is it still a sin eating from that tree?
Yes! Because the way we defined sin makes it a sin. And since it was prohibited by God, and
they disobeyed God either with a good intention or a bad, they committed the act of sin.

Had Eve and Adam had the Inner Devil before they ate the fruit?
The conclusion we got above is, No!

Last Words

I must say that we all have to praise God for everything He gave us though our deadly sins. He
still waits for us to watch His path and seek His will. He is the real Father, the one who saved
Jews from Egypt, the one who made David king, and the one who gave his only Son for us. But
remember, He is there , and waiting for us to turn to him and come to him with our own will.
