Company / Organization (noun).


A collection of people who work together to create a product or service in order to
make money or a profit.

Profit(s) (noun) / The Bottom Line (idiom).


Money that is remaining after all of the company’s expenses have been spent on
making the product or service.

Brand (Identity) / Brand Image (noun).


Brand Identity is how company wants the customer to perceive the company.
Involves PR and Marketing departments.
Brand Image is how the company is perceived by the customer in reality.

Logo (noun).
The graphic image or picture that represents the company. Helps make the brand,
the brand identity and image.

Company culture (noun).


The workplace culture of the employees of a company.

Company values / Core values (noun).


A list of beliefs that guide and determine a company’s values.

Headquarters (HQ) (noun).


The physical space (business) that is home to the company.

Products / Goods / Services (noun).


The physical products or service-based goods (like education) that the company
offers to customers.

Public Sector / Private Sector (noun).
Public – the government controls the specific product or service industry. (e.g. Public
Bus service.)
Private – the government does not control the industry. (e.g. private taxi service.)

Supplier (noun).
The person or company selling and providing material to a company to create its
products.

Manufacturers (noun).
The company that helps a company physically create a product.

In-house services / Outsourced services (noun).


In-house: parts of or entire products are made by the company selling them.
Outsource: parts of or entire products are made by someone outside of the company.
