1. Overview
User library tools: UsrLibTools is the software for user library.
UsrLibTools has user library read/write functions.
UsrLibTools dose not have library edit and monitor functions.
When you want to edit user library, please use PCwin.
The files created by PCwin could be read as user library files.
UsrLibTools is used for PC3JL, PC3JT and PC10G user library.

(Note)Use peripheral communication cable. Different CPU use different cables.

Please refer to PCwin manual 3.1 Connector for more details about communication cable.

System structure.

2. Install
The install of UsrLibTools is included in the install of PCwin.
When PC10G applied, install USB driver is needed. (Note)

3. Library format
The available library format is as following.

Extension Library format

4. Start and stop

Select [All programs (P)] – [Allwin-V8] – [User library tools] from the Start menu to start
UsrLibTools.

After UsrLibTools started, following interface displayed and USB communication icon
appeared on the Tool bar.
(If PCwin was started, the USB communication icon displayed already.)

When USB communication is available, the USB communication icon is green. When it
is unavailable, the USB communication icon is red. When the USB communication icon is
red, please check if the USB connected to CPU and the machine well, and if the power of
CPU is switched on. (Note).
(Note)Please refer to PCwin manual 3.4 Communication method with PC10G for more details about USB
communication set up.

Click [Library (L)] – [Stop application] from menu or click [X] button on the right top to
close UsrLibTools.

6. Library
6.1. Open
Display file dialogue box.
Select the file, click [Open] button, read user library or ladder diagram application. If there
is any related note file exist, read it at the same time.

When read the application file created by PCwin as user library, the file type shall be
selected as [Ladder diagram application file (*pp1,*pp2)]

6.2. Close
Close current opened user library.

6.3. Save
Save current opened user library.

6.4. Save as
Save current opened user library as another library.

Display folder icon.

Appoint the file name, click [Save] button to save the user library and library note in the
file.
Save as following library format.
*.LPB : User library Application file
*.LCB : User library Note file

6.5. Stop application

Close UsrLibTools.

Display or hide Tool bar.

7.2. Status bar

Display or hide Status bar.

8. CPU
8.1. CPU read
8.1.1. Backup user library
Read out user library and library comment by CPU.
Display folder icon after reading.
Appoint the file name, click [Save] button to save the user library and library note in the
file.

Save as following library format.

*.LPB : User library Application file
*.LCB : User library Note file

8.2. Write to CPU

8.2.1. User Library + Note
Write current opened user library and library note to CPU.

Write is not available when CPU is operating.

Please write after CPU stopped.

8.3. CPU operating status

Display current CPU operating status

8.4. CPU stop/clear stop

Stop CPU/clear stop CPU

8.5. CPU reset/start

CPU reset/start.

8.6. CPU start

Start CPU.

9. Set up
9.1. Set communication module
Select the communication module used for the communication with CPU.
Select from the list then click [OK] button.

The list of communication module is same to PCwin.

There is no edit communication module settings function in UsrLibTools.
Use PCwin to edit communication module settings.
