Objective
I am a Professor and Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. I am dedicated to Teaching
undergraduate and postgraduate medical and dental trainees, and Treating patients with the full range of
maxillofacial surgical techniques (mainly surgical oncology and head neck reconstruction including free
flaps). My other dedication is to Research in the field of maxillofacial surgery. My research interests are
the following:
1. Epidemiology and Treatment of Tumours affecting the Oral & Maxillofacial area
2. Methods of reducing of peri-operative complications in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
3. Oral and dermal wound healing
4. Maxillofacial traumatology
