The management & staff will not be responsible for loss/theft of personal belongings. v > Smoking, chewing gutka, and alcohol and narcotic consumption are strictly prohibited in the campus. If anyone is found in a drunken or intoxicated state in the campus, strict action will be taken against them. In addition (0 the above, the management through its employees reserves the right to conduct surprise checks of the hostel rooms for the detection of cigarettes, alcohol, ete. Entry of day scholars into the hostel without prior permission is prohibited. Disciplinary action will be taken against day scholars who enter the hostel without prior permission. Action will also be taken against hostel boarders who accommodate day scholars in their rooms without prior permission, v > Loitering in the institute campus during class hours is not allowed. Students must keep the campus & hostel rooms clean. Defacing/damaging walls, equipment, furniture etc., is strictly prohibited. > Students must tum off all the electrical equipments like lights, fans, etc., when not using them. Use of electrical equipments like induction cookers, electric cookers, washing machines, etc. is prohibited in the hostel. > i. Use of tube lights causing disturbance to the fellow roommate is prohibited between 10 pm to 6 am, Only table lamps are permitted during these hours. Mobiles, if used for watching, music, etc. inside the rooms, should be used only with headphones to minimize disturbance to fellow roommates. Ifnecessity arises, they should to do so with the permission of respe wardens. The meeting should be conducted in the presence of the care taker or the security and should end by 10 pm. Celebration of parties (e.g. birthday) that may cause isturbance/nuisance to others is not permissible. 7 No student shall bring or store any firearm, ammunition, explosive and inflammable goods on the premises of the hostel, less rules and regulation: > i, Food will be served only in the designated dining hall(s)/mess and only during the ecified timings. Students should eat food in the mess. Students are advised not to waste food & water. Food waste, if any, should be disposed off only in the waste bins. - Ifa student is sick, a written application by the student endorsed by the care taker should be given to supervisor for serving food in the room. iv. Timings for mess are as follows: Breakfast - 7.45 am to 9.00 am Lunch ~ 1.00 pm to 2 pm Evening tea- 4.00 pm to 5.30 pm Dinner - 7.30 pm to 9 pm > Allthe students (boys & girls) staying in the hostels should not take any mess items (plates, glasses, or any food provisions) to their rooms in the hostels. Ifany student is found doing so, action will be taken against them, ce plastic water glasses/tea cup/ plastic bowls will not be supplied in > Disposable items the mess. Hence, all the students are instructed to get their own things for personal use.
