Who is the BIM Manager


Please provide me with a response to the following questions;
1. What is the Primary Role of a BIM manager
 BIM managers oversee and encourage the use of digital technologies in the
AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry for the creation of
BIMs.
 As BIM Managers, they oversee the implementation of a business's
technology policy while highlighting the advantages of digital methods. They
might be part of a small group that ensures projects operate successfully and
project data models are produced within time frames. Collaborating closely
with BIM coordinators, who oversee the digital method, is part of the job.
2. What is their main function within a project team structure? (Include examples of
tasks that the BIM Manager may perform)
 Organizing meetings to determine project tasks and address issues.
 Assisting and auditing the project team, as well as identifying non-
compliances
 Determines and assists in the coordination of software, export and import
interactions, and data interchange standards.
 Oversees the entire team and coordination of procedures in BIM
preparation, including the definition of workflows and periods for data
integration, quality assurance, exchange of data, and reporting.
 Training or upgrading teammates in certain software programs.
 Makes sure that employees have access to the tools and equipment they'll
need.
 Creating monthly reports for top management to track and assess the
utilization of BIM.
 Keeping up with developments in construction technologies.
 Supervising the purchasing of workstations to ensure that the hardware is
adequate and effective.
 Enabling the execution of digital information strategy and objectives.
