I first separated the music into large chunks that I thought made sense inside the 4 different movements,

either because of a cadence or double bar or because of a new voice entering. Then I went into the music

and saw instances of the armed man melody inside of the divisions I made, I found many instances of

partial parts of the melody occurring in the tenor, and when other voices took it usually was part of a

cannon, but very few instances of the whole melody or even a longer section of it, when those occurred it
was always in the tenor line. I then went back and tried to specify where and when those occurred inside

my division.
