One of the things Magsaysay has done during his time of presidency

is the abolishment of LASEDECO, which is responsible for Agricultural Machinery

Equipment Corporation and the Rice and Corn Production Administration. at pinalitan
ni Magsaysay
ng NARRA, which goal is to resettle landless farmers and give the rebels who
surrendered a second chance through rehabilitaion
and providing them with lands for their home and to farm for.

ALso the RA 1199, which is to oraganize a good relationship between the Land owners
and the Tenants
within it such as the farmers and workers. which established the court of Agrarian
relations, primarily mangaing and resolving cases
related to land matters.

Another law regarding land reform matters that Magsaysay implemented is the
establishment of
Land Tenure Administration (LTA), which was in charge of the purchase and
distribution ng mga
tenanted na lupain ng rice and corn that is more or less than 200 hectares
individuals and 600 hectares para sa mga corporations.

Lastly, is Republic Act No. 821 or yung Agricultural Credit Cooperative Financing
Administration(ACCFA)
which basically ay pagpapautang sa mga magsasaka with low interests, which ranges
from 6 to 8 percent.

Joseph Estrada Implemented a law, which is the Executive Order No. 151 or simply
Farmer’s Trust Fund. which basically intends to eradicate
poverty, food security, our country to be able to compete with others and promoting
the development of new institutional structures and mechanisms
for our country to allow medium to long term investments for agriculture.

Another Project he launched was the MAGKASAKA (MAGKAbalikat para SA KAUNLARANG

AGRARYO), which goal is to
enourage investors to provide funding and technological supports, while having the
Farmers to do their part using their land for
agricultural purposes.
