The all-new ŠKODA Enyaq iV is one of the most significant new models ever introduced in the brand’s 126-year history.
Fully electric and designed from the ground up to deliver a completely new driving experience, it sets new benchmarks
for space, technology and value. Based on the Volkswagen Group’s modular electrification toolkit (MEB), the ground-
breaking all-electric SUV marks the start of the brand’s electromobility journey, paving the way for a new generation of
all-electric ŠKODAs.
As befits a car that is starting a bold new era in ŠKODA design and engineering, the Enyaq iV introduces a new
range structure based around battery sizes. Customers can choose between two battery pack sizes; 62kWh and 82kW
and then opt for one of six interior design selections and choose from option packs. From launch, ŠKODA is also offering
the Enyaq iV in SportLine form, which delivers an even more dynamic exterior look and a unique interior package. The
range will expand later in the year with a number of additional variants including a four-wheel drive model (80X) and a
sporting flagship vRS version.
The entry level 62kWh battery model is equipped with a 179PS (132kW) motor that drives the rear wheels through a
single-speed transmission. It has a WLTP combined range of up to 256 miles on a single charge. The larger 82kWh model
generates 204PS (150kW) and is capable of returning up to 333 miles on a single charge (WLTP).
The Enyaq iV offers customers three charging options. In addition to using a standard household 230V socket with 2.3
kW alternating current (AC), it can be charged at home overnight using a wallbox of up to 7.2kW. Depending on the
battery size, the 7.2kW wallbox charging process takes nine to 13 hours. As a third charging option, the vehicle can be
connected to rapid DC charging points with a charging capacity of up to 125 kW. This allows the Enyaq iV to be charged
from 10 to 80 per cent in approximately 38 minutes.

Powerful design, ultra-practical interior
Measuring 4,649 millimetres long and 1,879 wide (SportLine 4,653mm long), the Enyaq iV delivers the space and
practicality customers have come to expect from ŠKODA’s award-winning SUV models. Thanks to its all-electric platform,
ŠKODA’s design team has been able to completely reimagine the Enyaq iV’s interior architecture. With the battery
housed in the floor and a compact motor mounted beneath the boot floor, the Enyaq iV has a cabin unburdened by the
packaging compromises of a traditional internal combustion engine car. As a result, occupants can enjoy a spacious
interior with a flat floor and a boot that can hold 585-litres of luggage. This can be extended to 1,710 litres with the rear
seats folded.
Regardless of model, the Enyaq iV ushers in a new era of ŠKODA interior design. As customers have come to expect from
the brand, all Enyaq iV variants offer state-of-the-art connectivity and infotainment features. The driver is shown all of the
relevant information via a free-standing, 13-inch central display and, if desired a head-up display with augmented reality as
an optional extra. A permanent internet connection ensures that all information is always up-to-date, while a connected
app allows drivers to schedule and control charging and cabin pre-conditioning remotely.

Combined Energy Consumption on the WLTP cycle is 4.0 miles per kWh.
The Enyaq 80 iV has an output of 204PS, torque of 310 Nm and a WLTP range of 333 miles on the WLTP cycle.
The 82kWh battery (77 kWh usable) also has rear-wheel drive and a single-speed transmission. Combined Energy
Consumption on the WLTP cycle is 3.7 miles per kWh. Top speed for both models is 99mph.
ŠKODA will expand and develop the Enyaq iV range to offer an even broader range of models. These include four-wheel
drive variants that feature an additional motor on the front axle, a SportLine model and a range-topping vRS that will
deliver 306PS, 460Nm of torque and four-wheel drive.
In terms of drive, both launch models are rear-motor, rear-wheel drive, marking a return to drivetrain layout that
underpinned a generation of classic ŠKODA models from 1960 up to the 1990s. The Enyaq iV 60 Nav can reach 62mph in
just 8.7 seconds, while the Enyaq iV 80 can complete the sprint in 8.5 seconds.

Power is delivered via a compact electric drive unit mounted on the rear axle. This consists of a permanent-magnet
synchronous motor, power electronics and a single speed gearbox. To create a flat floor and maximise passenger space,
ancillaries such as the air conditioning system have been packaged at the front of the car.
As with all electric cars, the Enyaq iV features a braking recuperation system that regenerates energy under braking to
increase range. The level of braking, or regen, can be adjusted using the steering wheel paddles (optional on the 60 Nav)
which allow drivers to choose from three recuperation intensity levels.
12
Charging the Enyaq iV
The Enyaq iV comes with a variety of options for recharging. For
fast charging on the go, both models are equipped with a CCS
system to replenish the battery at high speed.
Rapid DC charging
When connected to a public rapid charger, both Enyaq iV models
can charge at speeds of up to 50kW. On a DC rapid charger, the
Enyaq iV 60 can charge from 5-80% capacity in 55 minutes, while
the Enyaq iV 80 model can reach the same level of charge in
1hr 10 minutes.
AC charging
All Enyaq iV customers will be able charge their vehicles at home
or at a workplace on an AC chargepoint. Using a Type 2 cable
(supplied as standard), the Enyaq iV can charge at a maximum of
11kW when connected to a three-phase AC supply. Most domestic
and workplace chargepoints are single-phase, so will charge the
Enyaq iV at a maximum of 7.2kW. When connected to a 7.2kW
supply, the Enyaq iV 60 Nav can charge from empty to full in around
9hrs 30 minutes, while the Enyaq iV 80 takes around 13 hours.

E X T E R I O R D E S I G N
The new Enyaq iV introduces a new era in ŠKODA design. With the new MEB platform opening up a world of new
design opportunities, the design team led by Oliver Stefani, was able to create a bold new shape without being
constrained by the need to accommodate a traditional internal combustion engine, transmission and running gear.
Bold and futuristic yet immediately recognisable as a ŠKODA, the Enyaq iV combines sculptural lines and perfect
proportions to create a powerful yet elegant family SUV. The front end is dominated by a striking front grille, unique
crystalline headlights and a boldly detailed bumper that combines powerful aerodynamic elements with intricate details.
The Enyaq iV’s side profile references ŠKODA’s SUV design language and adds a host of styling details to create a
smooth, flowing shape. A key element of the Enyaq iV’s look are the wheels, which are the largest diameter ever fitted
to a ŠKODA as standard. The Enyaq iV 60 Nav model comes with 19-inch Proteus alloy wheels as standard, while the
Enyaq iV 80 is fitted with 19-inch Regulus Anthracite alloys. Customers can specify 20- and 21-inch wheels as options to
give an even sportier look.

Superb design highlights
Roof spoiler
15
At the rear, the Enyaq iV features a number of familiar touches such as the ŠKODA brand wordmark positioned in
block lettering in the middle of tailgate. The rear LED light units are split between the rear wing and tailgate and feature
intricate crystalline detailing.
The tailgate is framed by a matt black roof spoiler and a rear bumper that features a grey diffuser. A panoramic
sliding roof is available as an option while the roof rails and window frames provide contrast in a choice of chrome,
matt or gloss black.
SportLine models add an even more dynamic look thanks to the addition of deeper sports bumpers and 20-inch Vega
Anthracite alloy wheels. SportLine models are also equipped with full LED headlights as standard.
Customers can choose from a range of paint finishes, which includes one solid colour (Energy Blue) and seven metallic,
pearl-effect or exclusive colours.
The Crystal Face has an animated Coming/Leaving Home function and, together with the LED modules for the full
LED Matrix headlights and the daytime running lights, it creates a welcoming display. At the rear, the optional full LED
tail lights have a crystalline illuminated area which, like the dynamic indicators, is part of the animated Coming/Leaving
Home function. This activates when the vehicle is opened or locked in poor visibility.
In terms of dimensions, the Enyaq iV is 4,649 mm long, 1,879 mm wide and has a height of 1,616 mm. The wheelbase
of 2,765 mm and absence of a transmission tunnel allow for extraordinary spaciousness. The Crystal face grille will be
available on Enyaq iV later in the year.

17
I N T E R I O R D E S I G N
The Enyaq iV redefines space and practicality with an interior that combines premium materials with an intelligent
layout that optimises the advantages of the car’s flat floor platform. With the battery pack cleverly packaged under
the floor between the front and rear axles, ŠKODA’s design team were able to create an interior without transmission
tunnels or large engine bulkheads. As 4x4 models will have a motor on each axle rather than a traditional propshaft, the
requirement for a domed transmission tunnel is now a thing of the past.
One of the most striking features of the Enyaq is the amount of light in the cabin. Thanks to the shallow angle of the
windscreen, the main dashboard is more open and flat than in a conventional internal combustion engined car. The
dashboard features a series of layers, with each one introducing a different texture and material. Such is the depth of the
dashboard that ŠKODA has been able to integrate an augmented reality head-up display without the need for a pop-up
screen panel.
The driving position has a broad range of adjustment and offers drivers exceptional levels of legroom, while the
telescopic steering column allows drivers to quickly find the perfect set-up. The seats have been completely redesigned
for the Enyaq iV and come with massage option for the first time. Both front seats come with height adjustment and
lumbar support while the two-spoke steering wheel is heated and adds recuperation paddles on Enyaq iV 80 models.
18
At the heart of the Enyaq’s cabin is an integrated infotainment system that provides connectivity and access to real-time
information (see section for more details). Both models feature a large 13-inch touchscreen display positioned high on
the dashboard and angled towards to the driver. In addition, both Enyaq iV models have a smaller Virtual Cockpit display
behind the steering wheel.
In the rear, the Enyaq iV offers exceptional levels of legroom, providing high comfort levels to passengers regardless of
size. Foot room is also impressive thanks to the flat floor, with the ability to optionally heat the rear seats will keep all
passengers toasty and warm on the coldest days. A panoramic roof is also available as an option for customers looking to
bring the outside in.
Further back, the Enyaq iV’s boot has a capacity of 585 litres with the rear seats in the upright position and 1,710 litres
with them folded. When specified with the optional Transport Package, the rear seats can be folded forward simply by
using the remote release button. Owners can also operate the tailgate remotely with Virtual Pedal – a feature included in
the Convenience option package.

New interior Design Selections
To give Enyaq iV buyers even greater choice when specifying their car, ŠKODA has replaced traditional trim grades with a
range structure that allows them to choose from six different interior styles. Called Design Selections, each one has been
curated to deliver a different feel and look. They differ in terms of upholstery, decorative trims and dashboard as well as by
using different materials. The floor mats, centre console and ambient lighting also have a different feel and appearance.
Loft. The Enyaq iV 60 and Enyaq iV 80 models come with the Design Selection ‘Loft’ as standard. The Loft interior
combines black and grey tones with comfortable fabrics. Completing the look are black floor mats and fabric door inserts.
Lodge. Smart eco-friendly design features heavily in the Lodge interior trim. The seat covers are made of 40% natural
new wool with the Woolmark Company quality seal and 60% polyester from recycled PET bottles. Elsewhere, the Lodge
interior comes with stylish fabric door inserts with stitching and black floor mats.
Lounge. The leather and microfibre upholstery introduced on the Lounge Design Selection has a soft suede finish along
with mustard stitching throughout. The dashboard is topped by a microfibre fabric to complement the seats.
Suite. This interior features soft, black leather seats with contrasting cognac-coloured stitching and piping and black
decorative trims. These offer passengers a high level of comfort and convey a premium feel.
ecoSuite. The cognac brown leather ecoSuite interior has been tanned using eco-friendly olive trees as opposed to
chemicals. Other touches include leatherette door inserts and a piano black trim on the dashboard.
The interior option packages available from launch include two Comfort Seat packages that add power adjustment and
even massage function, along with Family, Climate, Convenience and Transport packages. A further range of exterior and
driver packages are also available with the latter featuring Dynamic Chassis Control.
As ŠKODA customers have come to expect, the new Enyaq iV delivers exceptional levels of safety for passengers and
all other road users. In addition to new safety and assistance systems, the Enyaq iV can automatically warn of collisions
with other vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians and fixed obstacles. Optional Crew Protect Assist automatically tensions
the seat belts during emergency braking and closes the windows and the panoramic sliding roof in the event of an
impending collision, or if the car is in danger of skidding or rolling.
The Enyaq iV is equipped with LED headlights and tail lights as standard, with full LED Matrix headlights available as an
option. Each Matrix high-beam module contains 24 LEDs, which can be controlled individually and enable the driver to
have the high beam on at all times without dazzling other road users. If a camera on the windscreen detects vehicles
as well as people and objects reflecting the light, the intelligent lighting technology automatically turns off individual
segments of the light beam.
The projection zone for augmented reality is larger and is located higher up on the windscreen, still in clear view of the
driver. It projects an image onto the road ahead of the vehicle, where larger symbols such as directional arrows indicate
navigational instructions. Information relating to Adaptive Lane Assist or Adaptive Cruise Control can also be shown
along with traffic signs or warning. The driver can individually adjust the position of the display area on the windscreen,
set the colour and brightness, and select what information is to be shown in the infotainment system’s menu.
Travel Assist comprises Adaptive Cruise Control, Adaptive Lane Assist including roadwork recognition, Traffic Jam
Assist and Emergency Assist. Adaptive Cruise Control also incorporates route data from the navigation system and
traffic signs, will also be able to react to obstacles reported via online traffic data too.

S U S T A I N A B I L I T Y
ŠKODA is fully committed to sustainability with the Enyaq iV, both in terms of its all-electric, zero-emission drive
system and also in the choice of materials used. A large proportion of the materials used are recycled – including plastics,
metals and glass. A total of 13.1 kg of the plastics used in the Enyaq iV are recycled, as is 40% of the steel and 60%
of the aluminium.
ŠKODA continues to develop sustainable materials and is already working on further applications, focusing on
environmentally friendly materials that have been reclaimed and contain natural ingredients. This means they have a
smaller carbon footprint than conventional raw materials. These natural ingredients include fibres from sugar beet, which
are waste products from sugar refining. ŠKODA obtains these from the sugar refinery in Dobrovice near its headquarters
in Mladá Boleslav and intends to use them to develop fillers for plastic parts.
Sustainable materials are also used in the Enyaq iV’s interior. In addition to floor and boot mats made using fibres from
recycled PET bottles and sound insulation made from recycled textiles, the Enyaq iV also features seat covers made of
eco-friendly materials. In the Design Selection ‘Lodge’, these are made of 40% natural new wool and bear the Woolmark
Company’s Wool Blend Performance label, reserved for products containing between 30 and 49.9% new wool. The
polyester for the remaining 60% of this upholstery fabric has been reclaimed from recycled PET bottles.
The Colour & Trim Design department is closely involved in the development of new plastics and fibres to ensure they
match the colour, feel and surface texture of the organic materials already used in the vehicle.
In addition to ‘Lodge’, the Design Selection ‘ecoSuite’ also offers sustainable seat covers. The cognac-coloured leather
is produced without the typical use of chromium sulphate-based chemicals. Instead, olive leaf extracts are used in the
tanning process. This is sustainable and therefore better for the environment: it makes efficient use of olive leaves, which
are considered waste material in other industries. The leather upholstery in seats and other parts of the interior in the
‘ecoSuite’ features a smooth, grained texture. The seats also bear a badge indicating that the leather has been processed
in an eco-friendly manner.

The new Enyaq iV is always online and always connected. The infotainment system is based on the latest generation of
the Modular Infotainment Matrix and offers a number of functions backed by online support. The central component of
the system is a free-standing touchscreen. At 13-inch, it is the largest infotainment screen ever offered in a ŠKODA. It
features customisable layouts and can be controlled by touch, via a touch slider, by multitouch gestures and with hand
movements. It can also be operated using the Laura digital voice assistant. Laura understands 15 languages, six of which
can be processed with fully spoken sentences. The redesigned Virtual Cockpit presents the driver with a raft important
information, such as speed, driving data, navigation and active assistance systems, on a 5.3-inch display. The driver can
intuitively switch between different layouts using the multifunction steering wheel.
In addition to analogue radio, the infotainment system can also receive DAB digital radio as well as Internet and hybrid
radio. Using wireless SmartLink technology, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay or MirrorLink™, a smartphone can be wirelessly
integrated into the system.

› Bag and cleaner for the charging cable and a protective cap for the vehicle’s charging socket
› ŠKODA ice scraper now in the tailgate and optional electrically retractable tow bar
› Smartphone pockets on the front seat backrests and two storage compartments in the centre console
As customers have come to expect, the new Enyaq iV is packed with Simply Clever features. As the brand enters the era
of electromobility, ŠKODA’s design team have been offered a range of new opportunities, largely thanks to the unique
layout of the MEB platform.
The Enyaq iV provides smart answers to a whole range of new questions such as ‘Where do I store the charging
cable?’ and ‘How do I keep my hands clean when handling the cable?’ The charging cable can be easily cleaned with a
cable cleaner before it is stored away in a dedicated bag in the boot while a protective cap covers the charging socket
during charging. The optional tow bar can be electrically unlocked, folded out and retracted. As well as an umbrella in
the driver’s door and ice scraper with a tyre tread depth gauge stored inside the tailgate, the range of equipment also
includes a number of familiar Simply Clever features that owners have come to depend on.
These include a ticket holder on the A-pillar and the bag hooks in the boot. The two smartphone storage pockets on the
backrests of the front seats are particularly practical for rear-seat passengers while optional extras include mechanically
retractable sunblinds on the side windows and the Sleep package with two comfortable, larger headrests and a blanket.
As electric vehicles don’t have a traditional transmission tunnel, ŠKODA’s designers have been able to create a new
interior concept that includes clever storage options. They devised a bridge-like centre console which accommodates
a second storage compartment with a capacity of 11.4 litres in addition to the 6.2-litre storage area under the centre
armrest. ŠKODA has also developed a new Simply Clever solution for the compartment under the adjustable false
boot floor. A special insert divided into various compartments ensures that items stored there do not slide around while
on the move.

› Mladá Boleslav’s first electrified vehicle dates back to 1908
› Brand has developed numerous electric car projects
› Favorit-based ELTRA 151L in 1990s, Octavia E-Line in 2000s
› Enyaq iV marks the start of an electric journey for ŠKODA
The launch of the Citigoe iV and the Superb iV plug-in hybrid in 2020 marked the start of ŠKODA’s electromobility
transformation. However, the brand’s interest in electric powertrains stretches back a lot further.
30
Electric beer trucks and ŠKODA PUCK
At the end of the 1930s, ŠKODA produced a compact truck with electric drive and a load capacity of up to three
tonnes. This was used to supply beer to local restaurants in Pilsen. The electric truck had a comfortable, wide cab
above the electric motor, which was mounted in front of the front axle.
In 1941, ŠKODA entered the world of toys by presenting the PUCK: a car available in two sizes, for smaller and
larger children. The PUCK was fitted with a Scintilla electric motor, working headlights and suspension for all four
wheels. It even came with a built-in speedometer that displayed up to 8mph – the vehicle’s top speed.
Octavia prototypes to lead the way into the modern electric age
The Octavia Green E Line laid the foundations for ŠKODA’s first steps into the modern era of electromobility.
Starting in 2011, the brand’s engineers began testing the practical suitability of the electric drive system with
ten prototypes. The motor output was 85 kW at peak power and 60 kW in continuous operation. A 26.5 kWh
lithium-ion battery pack enabled a range of up to 90 miles. Nine years later, ŠKODA entered its electrified future by
launching the Citigoe iV and the Superb iV.
