DESCRIPTIVE ASPECT COMPARISON

General Formation
The standard and questioned specimens both used a cursive style of writing. The
specimens had stated the word “Jhon/John”. However, the distinction lies in the fact
that the letter “o” was written after the letter “j” in the standard specimen. Whereas,
the letter “o” was written after the letter “h” in the questioned specimen.
There has been a shift in the arrangement of both characters.

Relation to the Baseline


In standard specimen, few letters did not align appropriately to the baseline
while certain characters in the questioned specimen are written at an upward slant.
Pen pressure and Shading
In the standard specimen, the pen pressure is not consistent, which results in
the inconsistency of the thickness of the handwriting and hiatus. While in the
questioned specimen, the pen pressure is consistent, making the thickness of the
characters consistent from the initial to terminal stroke.
Ratio and Proportion
In standard specimen, the handwriting have the similar sizes. While in
questioned specimen, there is a clear distinction of the long and short letters.
Lateral Spacing
In standard specimen, the characters are spaced closely from each other, but not
in the questioned specimen. The characters is placed spaciously, making each
characters well emphasized.
Terminal Stroke
In the standard specimen, the terminal stroke is clearly seen pointing downward,
while in the questioned specimen, the line bended /curved before arriving into its
terminal stroke, thus, making the stroke pointing upward.

SPECIFIC DESCRIPTION
Arrow 1
In standard specimen, arrow 1, the main stroke of letter “ j “ done consistently
while questioned specimen the main stroke is arch.
Arrow 2
In standard specimen, arrow 2, the “h” in the specimen showing no eye loop
while in questioned specimen there is an eye loop due to the changes of there position.
Arrow 3
In standard specimen, arrow 3, the letter “o” was written after letter “j” while in
questioned specimen the letter “o” was written after letter “h”. Both letters have
changed their placements in questioned specimen.
Arrow 4
In standard specimen, arrow 4, the letter “h” was written after letter “o” while in
questioned specimen, letter “h” was written after letter “j”.
Arrow 5
In standard specimen, arrow 5 the first hump of letter “n” is smaller than the last
hump while in the questioned specimen the letter “n” has uniform humps.
Arrow 6
In standard specimen, arrow 6, the last hump of letter “n” is bigger than the last
hump in questioned specimen.
Arrow 7
In standard specimen arrow 7 the letter “n” is going down while in questioned
specimen the foot of the letter “n” form a hook at the end.
Arrow 8
In standard specimen, arrow 8, the letter “o” has no retracing while in
questioned specimen letter “o” has a retracing.
Arrow 9
In standard specimen, arrow 9, the whirl in letter “j” has no opening while in the
questioned specimen, the whirl has an opening.

OPINION / CONCLUSION

Upon thorough examination of the given sample using Comparative Examination


to distinguished the difference and similarities of the Alleged or Questioned and the
Original or Standard Signature.
The Document Examiners concluded that the Questioned Specimen is forged or
have been written by different person, due to the supporting evidences provided in the
previous two (2) pages. Upon examination, there are at least 9 evident differences
between the Questioned Specimen and the Standard Specimens.
In addition to this, the supporting evidences provide exact data analyzing elements
and characteristics which determine the distinctiveness of each document and make the
conclusion verifiable.
