Desk in advance. Late checkout is subject to availability and an additional charge
of 50% of the room rate is required
3. CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW FEES:
Peak & High Period: 21/12/2022 – 06/01/2024, 16/06/2023 – 31/10/2023, from 03 days to 0 days before arrival –
100% will be charged.
Medium and shoulder: 01/05/2023 – 15/06/2023, 01/11/2023 – 20/12/2023, from 02 days to 0 days before arrival – 1
night charge.
Low Season: 19/03/2023 – 30/04/2023, 24 hours before arrival – Full stay charge
4. EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES:
In case of unavoidable circumstances, the hotel reserves the right to offer another hotel of similar standards

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Cancellations must be advised in writing and proof of acknowledgement by the Hotel should be received.
The following charges apply:
- For bookings cancelled or reduced in numbers between 30 and 22 days from the date of arrival, 30% of the
contract will be charged.
-For bookings cancelled or reduced in numbers between 21 and 14 days from the date of arrival, 50% of the
contract will be charged.
-For bookings cancelled or reduced in numbers between 13 and 07 days from the date of arrival, 75% of the
cancelled stay will be charged.
-In case of cancellation within 06 days of the date of arrival, or in the case of “no show”, 100% of the full stay
will be charged.
-Cancellations or no show for bookings between the period 22.12.23- 06.01.24, 100% of the full stay will be
charged regardless of the cancellation notice period that is given.
Only the room type confirmed by the Hotel will be offered to guests upon arrival. Should guests wish to have a
superior room
category to that one booked; a supplement will apply to be paid directly by the guest unless an amendment to
the original
booking is sent in writing by the Operator to the Hotel prior to the guest departure.
Check-in time is at 14:00. Access to rooms prior to this time will only be offered depending on availability of
rooms at the time
of arrival. In order to guarantee an early check-in between 07:00 and 14:00, this must be stated on the
reservation form and a one full night’s charge will apply for stays between 22.12.2023 to 06.01.2024. During the
rest of the contract year, a 50% charge of the room rate will apply. For check in before 07:00, the room must be
booked from the previous day.
Check-out time is at 12:00 noon. Late check-out from 12:00 to 18:00 is charged at 50% of one full night. For
check out after
18:00, a full night’s stay is charged. Late check out is subject to availability and is to be paid directly by the
guest.
Guests departing before their booked check-out date will be charged for the remaining nights of the original
confirmation.
After the release date, name changes can be accepted depending on availability. Hotel reserves the right not to
accept any name changes after the release period.
Non pre-paid reservations (in case no credit facilities have been established) may be charged to the guest
directly.
Please note that all meal supplements are non-commissionable, Guests will not be refunded for any
unconsumed meals.
TURN AWAY POLICY
In the unlikely event that the Hotel has to turn away a guest with a confirmed and complete reservation, the
Hotel will be responsible to arrange accommodation for the guest in a similar category property.
CLIENT DISPUTES & COMPLAINT HANDLING PROCEDURES

Complaints must be brought to the attention of the Hotel during the guests stay or within 14 days of guest
departure. Proof
of acknowledgement by the Hotel should be received.
Hotel will respond in writing, offering explanation/compensation if warranted.
No rebates or compensation should be offered by the Operator on behalf of the Hotel without prior written
confirmation from
the Hotel.

C) TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. PRICES
a) Prices quoted are per person per day unless otherwise stated.
b) Rates are inclusive of all local taxes and will remain firm subject to all Government of Zanzibar charges
remaining fixed. The hotel reserves the right to pass any increases on to the tour operator.
c) Rates are exclusive of local infrastructure tax of $1 p.p/p.n (same apply to children & infants). Infrastructure
Tax will be collected directly at the hotel as part of guest's extras bill.
2. TRANSFERS
Return airport transfers can be arranged by the Resort at an additional charge.
4. SPORTS AND RECREATION

5.CANCELLATION CHARGES - FIT bookings (1-5 rooms)

A cancellation fee will be payable for all no-shows and reservations released within 30 days of the arrival of the

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEARS SEASON - CANCELATION CHARGES

For bookings over Christmas & New Years peak period - 23 December to 5 January (inclusive) - the following
cancellation fee will be payable for these nights for all no-shows and reservations released within 60 days of
the arrival of the client based on the following scale
a) 60 to 31 days: 25% of the full booking value, per room
c) 30 to 15 days: 75% of the full booking value, per room
d) 14 to 0 days: 100% of the full booking value, per room
e) No Shows: 100% of the full booking value, per room
6. ROOM CONFIGURATION
Unless otherwise indicated a double room will be booked automatically for all reservations. Room
configurations i.e. twin/double/extra bed must be indicated clearly on the booking voucher at the time of
booking or providing the rooming list. The Resort will not accept any liability for guest complaints deriving
from wrongful information provided during the booking process by the booking consultant.
7. MEAL PLANS
a) All rates quoted are on half board, breakfast and dinner inclusive and will be taken in the Ocean Restaurant
or Jahazi Restaurant, at the Hotel's discretion.
b) Lunch service will be on an a la carte basis to all guests on a Half Board meal plan.
c) Full Board/All Inclusive guests will be entitled to select from a menu provided for this meal category. All
Inclusive guests receive an “All Inclusive Pocket Guide” upon check-in, all menu items included in the packages
are indicated on menus with (FB) or (AI) next to the item available in the packages and receive an explanation
letter in their room attached to the welcome letter. The same is explained to the guest during arrival info
session and by the service staff and senior management members are available, visible and approachable
throughout the day to assist in an explanation should a guest still not understand the package. The Resort will
therefore not accept any liability for guests claiming they did not know about what the package includes and
excludes refusing to pay for any items that are not included in the package. We expect that the same
information is clearly explained to the guests prior to arrival in brochures, advertisements and guest itineraries.
d) All guests (including All Inclusive guest) of the Resort are obligated to sign a service docket for items
ordered for accounting and control purposes.
e) Meal Plans do not include beverages UNLESS the All-Inclusive Supplement is utilized.
f) The a la carte dinner option is not included in any of the Meal Plans.
g) Picnic Boxes/Breakfast packs/Lunch packs (Take Away Meals) are not included in any meal plan and is
available at an additional supplementary charge.
h) Meals are not exchangeable i.e. should a guest missed dinner due to dining outside the property the “lost”
dinner cannot be exchanged for any other meal option, refund, discount or credit.
i) Dinner options are provided for late arrivals after 22:00 pm to the guests free of charge and are not
exchangeable for any other meal arrangements on any other days during their stay.
8. CHECK-IN/OUT TIMES, EARLY ARRIVALS & LATE DEPARTURES
a) Check in time is 14:00 pm & Check out time is 12:00 afternoon (pm)
b) Early arrivals must be pre-booked subject to availability at 50% of the room rate for room use only. We do our
very best to prepare rooms as soon as possible for early arriving guests however we cannot guarantee room
availability for early arrivals during peak periods therefore it’s recommended to book an early arrival room.
c) Late departures rooms after 12:00 pm are possible subject to the room availability at 50% of the room rate
for room use only and 100% of the room rate after 18:00 pm. We recommend to
pre-book late departure rooms for guests departing after 15:00 pm.
d) Early departure nights are not refundable and 100% cancelation fees will apply.
e) Later arriving nights due to flight delays or delayed travel arrangements will be considered as no show
nights and cannot be moved to other nights i.e. adding nights due to the no show. No show fees will be applied
and amended reservations must be made for additional nights at the relevant charges.
f) Early arrival/late departure luggage storage facilities are available for guest to store their luggage on early
arrival & late departure while they await their transfers using all the facilities of the Resort and shower facilities
to refresh near our pool side Restaurant.
We expect that the above will be communicated to the guest and the Resort will not be liable for any
complaints that derived from guests due to the above not being informed to guests by the
company/agent/tour operator however we try our level best to accommodate and inform our mutual guests.

and/or rooms reduced, then 25% of the total price will be charged.
