Good morning everyone I’m Mutia and I’m here to describe a place as known as national rice
barn and industrial centre

2. Geography
1) Location
Karawang is located in West Java Province. There are 5 regencies that are directly
borders with karawang, namely Bekasi and bogor regencies in the west, subang regency
in the east, purwakarta regency in the southeast, and cianjur regency in the south.
2) How to get there…?
A. To get there, you may go by car, train, or bus.
3) Nearest place
A. This place is near from (name of nearest place)
B. (name of place) shares a border with (name of nearest place
4) Tourism place
A. To find tourism place, you may visit some place that related with history of
Indonesian Independence Day (house where proclamation script were written in
rengasdengklok), and some factory outlet that viral nowadays (who sells some
branded stuff)  villagio outlets and grand outlet
5) Weather
A. The weather of Karawang is very warm and sticky, because there are lots of
factories in karawang
3. Culture
1) Ethnic
A. The majority tribe of this place is Sundanese, and other immigrants from various
ethnic in Indonesia, such as the Javanese, Batak, Minangkabau, Bugis and
others.
2) Language
A. Most inhabitants in this place speak sundanese for daily communication.
3) Traditional food
A. Ikan gabus bumbu pucung is the traditional food that quite famous in karawang.
But my favorite foods in karawang are seblak and nasi liwet.
4) Tradition
A. Nyalin is the tradition of Karawang, Nyalin is a Sundanese traditional agricultural
ceremony which is carried out during the rice harvest in the rice fields. (nyalin
mean replace ini english)
4. Activity
A. To fulfill their daily needs, most inhabitants work as farmers (especially rice
farmers) and factory worker.
5. What makes this place is special
A. This place is so special for me because I quite often visit Karawang for official
work travel (about twice a month). When I go to karawang I feel like healing,
because the trip was quite enjoyable (On the highway of Jakarta-cikampek I can
see the train on the right and left side of the road, and also the bus and large
 cars with the various shapes), and when you arrive in Karawang you will see a
fairly wide expanse of rice fields with some factories around it
