Tárrega. He also includes music by his Azerbaijani compatriot, Fikret Amirov, whose folkloric-
influenced music is another thematic link. The kaleidoscopic Just How Funky Are You by Andrew
York and Leo Brouwer’s An Idea explore the guitar’s contemporary vitality.
