Dear Dr Spence,

I believe the school, Dulwich College, could take advantage of the use of a Content Management system.
This is because the has several children who would often create indecent photos that if released, would
make a bad name for our school, damaging the reputation of the school. For example, there had been a
pornographic image sent around the school of a girl at another school, luckily, we manage to control the
situation and manage to find the culprit and delete all the images. However, if such another situation
arises, the school’s name will be damaged, and potential students will overlook us as the school of
choice. I, as an IT consultant, do not want this to happen to this great school. So, I propose you attempt
to implement a Content management system. It is a computer software used to manage the creation
and modification of digital content. It is typically used for enterprise content management (ECM) and
web content management (WCM). An ECM normally supports multiple users in a collaborative
environment by integrating document management, digital asset management and record retention.
Alternatively, WCM is the collaborative authoring for websites and may include text and embed
graphics, photos, videos, audio, maps, and program code. This will ensure any inappropriate websites,
photos, videos, or texts that could be from a member of staff or student will not be produced or
distributed, saving the school from embarrassment. This will help the school ensuring the safety of every
single pupil.

Kind regards,

Ellson Lin
