o Price action is fractal in nature, we see a pattern on one time frame could be easily
replicated and seen on a lower timeframe or a higher time frame
o but there is a significance that's placed on the higher time frame charts over the lesser
time frames, Monthly has the most significance as it gives overlook on the year charts
o Monthly chart provides a macro institutional bias so we can see what large institutions
are doing & their sentiment
o If Price Action Is Bullish = we look for buying opportunities at the Monthly opening price
or below the Monthly opening price
o If Price Action Is Bearish = we look for shorting opportunities at the Monthly opening
price or above the Monthly opening price
o Large institutions use algorithmic systems that key of monthly and weekly opening prices
since there are massive amounts of volume in these entities actions we would do well to
imitate or mimic their actions and directional bias

o Here Equal low liquidity has been taken out by forming swing low which makes the price
bullish

o We need the drop down from the monthly open & get swing low & expansion

• ICT PO3 = Weekly open

o Monthly chart provides a Intermediate institutional bias i.e., it neither gives long term
bias nor short term bias, time frame of the trade could be 2 weeks - months
o If Price Action Is Bullish = we look for buying opportunities at the Weekly opening price
or below the Weekly opening price
o If Price Action Is Bearish = we look for shorting opportunities at the Weekly opening
price or above the Weekly opening price
o large shifts in price that originate from the macro monthly bias will provide the
framework to weekly opening price setups
o Not every week we'll move in the macro directional bias but however there will be some
weeks that move violently in agreement with the macro monthly bias

o When the bias is bullish & we are looking for buying opportunity
o We need the drop down from the open & get swing low & expansion
