Processing The UPS Store® 360 Simple Returns


The UPS Store®360 Simple Returns is an agreement between The UPS Store,
Inc., UPS and certain retailers that provides customers with easy, convenient, and
free returns of unwanted merchandise.
The customer gets a faster refund and can return multiple items under a single
RMA.
This document describes the steps to process a 360 Simple Returns item, item
eligibility, and the two sizes of shipping paks required for the program.

Process Steps
Here’s an overview of the process steps to follow when a customer arrives in your
center with an unpacked item to return. The customer will have a mobile barcode
on their smart phone.
1. Scan the mobile barcode.
2. Accept the default A shipping label
needs to be printed on the Enter
Package Information screen in CMS.
3. Select Print.
4. Hand the receipt to the customer. The
customer can leave now.
5. Choose the appropriate size shipping
pak.

6. Place the item in the shipping pak, fold or wrap it to
minimize the inner void, remove the strip, and seal
the pak.
7. Attach the shipping label, taking care not to cover
the logo.
8. Place the pak in the holding area for the next daily
UPS pickup.

Shipping Paks
Two sizes are available.
• The small pak measures 12 inches by 15 inches and
holds items up to 400 cubic inches in size.
• Typical small pak items include jeans, a t-shirt, gloves, or costume jewelry.
• The large pak measures 19 by 24 inches and holds items up to 1,400 cubic
inches in size.
• Items that will probably go into the large pak include shoes in their box, a
large purse or a decorative pillow.
• Shipping paks are provided free of charge by UPS. Your first shipment will
contain 50 of each size. You can order more by calling 1-800-877-1760.
Provide your UPS shipper number and the item numbers below:
o Large The UPS Store Returns Shipping Pak- Item #01880250775
o Small The UPS Store Returns Shipping Pak - Item #01880250776
NOTE: You must reserve the shipping paks for the 360 Simple Returns
program only. DO NOT use them for any other packing or shipping purpose, and
do not sell them.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the 360 Simple Returns program, items must meet specific
conditions. They must:
• Weigh no more than 10 lbs.
• Be able to fit into one of the shipping paks.
• NOT be fragile or breakable.
• NOT contain any hazardous materials.
In addition, no side of a hard item can measure more than 22 inches.

Wrapped Items
If a customer brings in a packaged item that’s
suitable to ship, select the check box next to
“Item is pre-packed and does not require a
Shipping Pak” before selecting Print on the
Enter Package Information screen in CMS.
