Subject: Proposal for Procurement of 01 Shoulder Pulley Equipment for Physiotherapy

Currently, our physiotherapy unit lacks functional shoulder pulley equipment,

hindering our ability to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients
recovering from shoulder injuries or surgeries.

The shoulder pulley is an essential device used in physiotherapy for improving range of
motion, strength, and flexibility in the shoulder joint. It plays a vital role in the
rehabilitation process for patients recovering from conditions such as rotator cuff
injuries, frozen shoulder, and post-surgical interventions.

Hence it is proposed to procure 01 no. of Shoulder pulley against the condemnation for
the use of physiotherapy unit at DRH/WAT. The item is available in GeM, GeM Product
ID: 5116877-70635113048, Budgetary Quotation from GeM attached for reference. The
cost of Shoulder pulley is 3000 rs,

Vide MSOP B/23 in medical matters CMS is empowered to procure up to Rs. 2 lakh per
item for replacement/addition of small medical equipment, apparatus, appliances
including instruments, spares and accessories for hospital and dispensaries chargeable
to revenue and finance concurrence is necessary if the cost of an item exceeds
Rs.25000.00.

As per our guidelines the proposed cost of the shoulder pulley equipment falls within this
limit.

I kindly request your administrative approval and sanction for the procurement of the
01 number of shoulder pulleys. This acquisition is imperative to enhance the quality of
care we provide to our patients undergoing shoulder rehabilitation.
