VISUAL ARTS GALLERY Booking Procedure The Visual Arts Gallery of the India Habitat Centre aims at serving people by supporting the Arts and related exhibitions. Itis not ust a space available for hiring; it isa platform to promote art, a place to showcase works of established and emerging artists. The Visual Arts Gallery is a hub of art activity, helping build linkages between Gitists and the public; and most of all, it isan initiative of the India Habitat Centre to take art out of the white cube. ‘A dynamic programme of over 100 exhibition: array of exhibition content. Please note: India Habitat Centre reserves the right to accept or reject the proposals. By submitting proposal, exhibitors/artists cannot lay claim to the desired dates at the gallery, even though the dates might be available 5) Once the booking is confirmed, please prepare 2 portfolio of high-resolution images of the works to be sent on email to the Visual Arts Gallery office. This would help with documentation for the IHC Annual Arts Journal 6) __Noreligious activities are allowed in IHC premises 7) Also if 2 mailing list is required, please inform ‘the Gallery office staff, one month in advance 2} non you ore offered the dates, ya wll required to make SOM wveness Pav Be confirm the booking within one month of the receipt of our letter. You ‘will also have to fill a form with terms and conditions, attached along with this booking procedure. The gallery offers an area of 3,800 square feet (276 running feet) to exhibit the works. Exhibitors can only exhibit 70 -80 art works in Visual Arts Gallery. More than given limit art works are not recommended. The Open Palm Court offers an area of 2,025 square feet (129 running feet) 45- 50 art works in Open Palm Court Gallery, More than given limit art works are not recommended. To book the amphitheatre, please give us a proposal that includes a note on the event to be organized. Proudly standing tall are some of the permanent displays of Ram Kinker Baij, KS Radhakrishnan, Ray Meeker, Balbir Singh Katt and Robin David . We welcome artists in any stream to send us their Proposal to temporarily showcase their works at our 3 available outdoor spaces, namely the atrium, side entrance as well as next to the amphitheater.
